TECH ME YOUR WAYS!!! I must know how to find fic's like this.

Great question! It's so hard to find good tech smut but I think I'm getting a little better at it. A few pieces of advice:

Start with a specific robot/machine character you like and search from there. I found all of the tags in that post by trawling the 'Tenna (Deltarune)' character tag on AO3; it's easier to find stuff like that if you filter results to only show explicit fics or fics tagged 'Wire Play' (you can type this in manually where it says 'other tags to include'). The tagging system on AO3 is generally pretty good once you get familiar with it, but if the character you like has very few fics you might be SOL. It was easy to find stuff for Tenna bc he's currently VERY popular haha.

Start your search with the 'Wire Play' tag (or something else you like) and then filter the results. If you sort by Kudos or Bookmarks or something, you'll see the most popular/well liked fics in the tag. That doesn't necessarily mean they're good, but they probably won't be terrible. That being said, there may be a lot of trial and error, especially if you aren't comfortable reading fics for media you don't know/care about. My secret bonus tip is to filter the results to only show original works; that's where I've found some of the most creative/my favorite wireplay content. There are a lot of hidden gems out there.

The more you engage in any community, the more you'll discover. Use the bookmarks feature! Hit that follow button! Find recommendations from other people and/or follow specific authors if you like their work. If you have a friend or mutual into the same things you guys can share fic recs too.

Make your own. A lot of authors started writing because they wanted something to exist and no one else had created it yet. Something something "be the change you wish to see in the world" lmao.

If you're brave you can also search other sites (fanfiction.net, wattpad, quotev, etc.) but they're generally much harder to navigate compared to AO3 and the content is usually restricted to older fandoms. Anyway I hope this is at least somewhat helpful!

The results I got were slightly different than when I've taken the big 5 on purpose, so maybe not knowing what I was taking impacted the outcome. something something double blind study design? idk.
