summary: helping defend his kid from other kids on roblox.

“Katsuki.”

No response.

“Katsuki.”

Still nothing. Just the glow of the screen reflecting off his face, jaw clenched, eyes locked in like he was planning a full-scale battle strategy. His fingers flew across the keyboard, clicking with the precision of a trained assassin.

You folded your arms. “Katsuki Bakugo. You are a grown-ass man playing Roblox.”

He finally looked up from your kid’s gaming setup, scowling. “Yeah? And?”

You pinched the bridge of your nose. “And you’re a Pro Hero. You fight real villains. You’ve literally saved the world.”

“Yeah, well, right now, I’m savin’ my kid’s goddamn tycoon,” he snapped, turning back to the screen.

Your child, sitting beside him, was absolutely thriving. “GET HIS ASS, DADDY!”

“ON IT, SQUIRT,” Katsuki barked, fingers moving like he was hacking into a government database.

You sighed, watching your fully grown husband—one of the strongest heroes alive—brutalizing a bunch of kids in Roblox because some 10-year-old named BlazeNinja_44 wouldn’t stop spawn-killing your kid.

The chat was on fire.

BlazeNinja_44: BRO WHO IS THIS

ExplosiveDynamight (Katsuki): UR WORST NIGHTMARE, LITTLE ****

BlazeNinja_44: ?????

Your kid cackled kicking their legs back and forth watching his dad go off for him. “Dad, you sound like one of those gamers.”

“GOOD.” Katsuki cracked his knuckles like he was about to drop a finisher move. “This lil’ bastard deserves it.”

You stared in sheer disbelief as your husband—a fully licensed Pro Hero—went on an unstoppable rampage, obliterating a bunch of middle schoolers in an online Lego game.

And worst of all?

Your kid was cheering him on.

You sighed, rubbing your temples. “I can’t believe I married you.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” Katsuki muttered, eyes still locked on the screen. “y’know you love me.” he grins.

thinking about katsukis kisses perchance

he loves LOVES kissing your neck, he will attack it whenever he can. katsuki just puts his face into the crook of it, sometimes he'll just keep himself there and eventually lets his lips trail all over. ultimately, it's almost therapeutic as he feels like you're a rock in moments he's feeling tense. you'll feel the vibrations of his chest as he laughs if you mention how freezing his nose is when it's cold outside.

i like to imagine whenever you pull your lips away from his, he subconsciously follows and leans towards you getting closer, trying to go back in for another. he absolutely huffs and groans in frustration followed by "what?" or "c'mon. enough of that" if he knows you're doing it intentionally to mess with him-- knowing you've got him all worked up like this.

id think his lips get chapped easily as he tends to bite and gnaw at the skin, especially in the winter it gets bad when it's all dry. he'll let you put chapstick on him or vaseline with your fingertips. little indirect kisses on your fingers.

he is a sucker for shoulder kisses as well. at night as he climbs into bed after a long day and hot shower, he sometimes settles behind you with his chest to your back. he'll make some remark you're up too late as you're looking and laughing at something stupid on your phone, he presses kisses to the back of your shoulder, he tightens his grip around your waist as he tries to sleep.

katsuki is the type of boyfriend to have his hand on you in some sort of way. it doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing— you’ll feel his warm and calloused hand on your lower back standing beside each other or on your knee absentmindedly tracing shapes as he uses his phone. sometimes you’ll feel him lightly massaging your upper back since he knows how tense you can get. (“shit— why didn’t you tell me?” he’d mutter mutter pressing his fingers.)

katsuki is the type of boyfriend who notices and knows everything about you. yes he did take note that you didn’t kiss him to greet him. yes he knows your comfort meal and cooks it for you without asking. yes he knows you only know how to tie your shoes the bunny ear method.

katsuki is the type of boyfriend to simultaneously be your best friend. he gives you that sassy look when he knows you both are thinking the same thing and judging someone’s annoying behavior. the type to have stupid inside jokes with you and fail to hide the dimples on his face whenever he is reminded of so. he will take your side in an argument.

katsuki is the type of boyfriend to have zero shame when it comes to you and being in a relationship with you. he only retorts (albeit poorly. because he is hopeless) back whenever someone like denki or mina comment about his lockscreen being a picture of you or his bag has a beaded charm dangling from it that you made for him. he’d probably just mention how they’re the one still single. “at least I have a relationship dumbass”

katsuki is the type of boyfriend who subtly flexes when he notices you watching him when he’s training or exercising. he takes full pride and advantage of it. he’ll shoot you a dumb grin when you’re looking and be like “what’re you being all weird for…”. also, you know that meme where it’s like “when he’s copying your snap so I pull this” and they send a picture of a flexed bicep? that’s what I think of with him. hehehe.

katsuki is the type of boyfriend to be the “let me do it” kind of guy. except it comes off painfully judgmental... in an endearing way. when you’re cozy in bed but complain because you forgot to grab your water— he’ll put an arm over you before you can get up and he’ll do it himself. he practically glares at you if you try bringing your card out to pay. he makes sure to open doors for you and always walk on the side of the sidewalk closest to traffic.
