I am Mohammed Qassem, a Palestinian from Gaza. For more than 600 days, my family and I have been living in the nightmare of war. I lost my city, my work, and many of my loved ones.

What was once a simple and peaceful life is now a daily battle for survival. We are living a frightening war, surrounded by destruction. We don't have a constant source of food or clean water. Some days, we were able to share only one meal every two days. Imagine facing your hungry mother and siblings, and you have nothing - absolutely nothing - to offer.

I try to stay strong, but it's hard to keep hope alive when every day brings more suffering. Winter was merciless. Summer is worse. The sound of drones, the smell of smoke and the silence of the world around us has become our new reality.

I don't ask for luxury. Ask for basic human needs - food, shelter, medicine and a chance to start over. I'm my family's only source of hope, but even hope is hard to hold on to when your body is weak and your heart is tired

Could you imagine living through a famine, and losing your fundraiser - that you worked so hard to raise funds for ? 🍉

This is reality for Youssef, Hanan and their children.

They live in Gaza, where if bombs don't kill them, hunger will. In Gaza, 470,000 people are experiencing famine like conditions, the IPC warns of the worst scenario case of hunger.

This type of malnutrition and starvation is irreversible in young children - and food is priced at exhorbant prices, far beyond the means of most in Gaza.

The other option - is being funneled into a cage, sprayed with gas and shot at the Gaza "humanitarian" foundation, where you are unlikely to receive anything at all.

And yet - Hanan and Youssef's gofund.me, a lifeline, has been terminated, and he didn't recieve ANY of the funds they worked so hard to get.

On the new chuffed link, only £89 has been raised. The last donation was TWO DAYS AGO as I write this...

I am Yousef from Gaza, father of Lana, Abdul Karim, and Adam. My house was destroyed and we live in tents under the scorching sun. My wife is eight months pregnant and her health is poor due to malnutrition. Please help me. How will I wait for my child who was born in poor condition? My heart is broken. I dreamed of a wonderful life to spend with them, a dignified life. A life not filled with death, fear, destruction, and deprivation. I wanted to fill his room with toys and his closet with clothes. I wanted to buy him children's books, but I couldn't. The war came and my hopes were shattered. My goal became providing him with a carton of milk and food. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive, and we no longer have the income to buy his needs. The eggs of Al-Karm are deprived of many of their basic needs. They are deprived of security and stability. No fruit, no meat, no flour. A kilo of flour costs 30 British pounds. Vegetables are very expensive. A kilo of tomatoes costs 20 pounds, a kilo of eggplants is 20 pounds, a head of garlic is 25 pounds, and a kilo of peppers is 25 pounds. Nothing fills my children's eyes except fear. As soon as they hear the sounds of explosions around them, they start crying. Today, a kilo of onions costs 70 pounds, a kilo of zucchini is 30 pounds, and a kilo of lemons is 50 pounds. Water is undrinkable, and we struggle to get it by waiting in queues, and most of the time, we cannot get it.

Every donation for my children will save us from the tragedy we live every day in Gaza.🙏🫂.

My name is Abdullah Al-Qassab, I’m 27 years old, and I am writing this message with trembling hands and an empty stomach — from Gaza.

Before the war, I had a small travel agency something I built with love, effort, and hope.I dreamed of a simple life… a dignified life.

But the war didn’t just destroy my home and business —it shattered my ability to dream.
