It was hard to believe sometimes – how dangerous Dayi was. Never had she met a man so gentle, so sweet. Both of them were alike in that way – beautiful on the outside but rotten from within. “It’s like really impressive you did this like – you are amazing. Tonight like – if you wanna hang out…..I have some ideas on how to make less waste.” Though the environment was important to her, she also wanted an excuse to spend more time with him. She could be a greedily little thing. Easily she began to remove the vases from the packaging and put them where he desired.
He would never understand how they had gotten so lucky as to find one another. It really had to be a miracle. His own damaged mind was finally letting him just be and he knew it was because of her. Smiling, he picked up the vases and began organizing them by size and color, testing out different display methods. Most of what he had on the shelves sought to bring the focus to the flowers, but he also wanted clients to be able to pick out vases if they wanted. “Less waste? What are we going to do?” She had so much knowledge he didn’t and it was always fascinating to learn from her.

After everything that Lulu had been through, this felt like heaven. Sometimes it felt like more than she deserved. Never had she ever felt at home – until she met Dayi. “Of course Sir!” Happily she skipped over to him as she wrapped her arms around his waist from behind. “Thank you – so much again. For everything.” With a smile she kissed his cheek – mand stepped back on her heel. With a nimble hand she took out her pocket knife and began to cut open the box. “Did you sleep well?”
His entire face went red at the kiss and he had to stop himself from dropping what he was holding. Quickly, he set the smaller box down on a nearby counter and knelt to help get the vases out. “You don’t have to thank me. You’re great to have around and, well, I could use another person around the shop. Work gets a little overwhelming on my own.” Opening the store by himself had been alright when he was just starting out, but with more customers, he needed to work longer hours, which was getting stressful.

Getting the shop ready to open was always a small hassle, but now that he had help, it would get done in no time. The shop proper wouldn’t be technically open for another hour. However, arriving early and getting it all set up was highly important. Looking over to Lulu, he waved. “Can you help me with this box?” he asked, nodding toward a new shipment of vases.
