Cancers long to hideaway, crawl back into the shell that they carry on their back, and escape from the noise of the world. On the inside, Cancer wears a pair of earphones that can transmit the deepest messages of intuition from her spirit guide. Bill Herbst says that the fourth house is the place where our guides reside. Up to the ears in collective psychic activity, the Cancer is a vessel for people’s conditional unmet needs and harrowing fears. There is an added security when someone can retreat into their own world, and the Cancer has the sort of cosmic insulation that allows for this process. There is a significant imagination and fantasy world concocted in the Cancer mind, the pinata delight of Gemini diffusing into water colour and creativity. Emotions are increased for the Cancer person, and they can have disproportionate reactions to seemingly small events or hurtful words, circulating activity other people don’t even notice.
