Ayyy it’s my bro! So let’s start off with the sort of “main crew” of kids that do accompany Achilles (and Achilles themself lol)

Achilles: Lonely adjacent and at one might’ve even been borderline an avatar. He loves giving but hates receiving.

Stig: Another lonely adjacent but less than Achilles, only thing keeping them tied would be his dad.

Mairi: Now that is a desolation aligned right there, it’s less about freeing kids for her and more of watching the church fail.

Rook: Their dreams of violence and outlet for it using LARPing puts him solidly as slaughter aligned.

Bit: Like Rook their best friend at camp, Bit also loves the violence but it’s more calculated like the huht.

Sam: Now that is a desolation aligned right there, it’s less about freeing kids for her and more of watching the church fail.

Lupi: It may have been a bit obvious but they're pretty much a standard hunt aligned.

Lina: Now her! Oh she's a perfect spiral aligned. After all lying has ended up being quite a bit of who she was.

Jane: A quite peculiar vast avatar. Even after the boating accident disabled her making her unable to walk, she still loves the ocean.

Shelly: Obvious eye avatar, paranoid of what might happen to her sister and keeping tabs. Plus she is able to synthesize hormones through odd means so it checks out.

Julie: A lonely aligned as well, it wasn't safe to her to be open. Keeping in secrets she didn't want to.

Randall: Our first corruption aligned as he drowns all his sorrows out with non stop smoking cigarettes or blunts.

Al: Very much aligns with the stranger, they were always ostracized for every little part of them.

Harley: A web little shit indeed, dragging people into deals and stringing them along to get what they want to.

Pani: Buried aligned, the ocean has always been where she's been safe and sound. The crushing weight of water is something special to her.

Since we have the kids down. Let's turn our attention for a second towards the counselors (a chance to show them off!). The two non blurry ones (Tristen and Sheila) are the two counselors who have decided to break hell and go against their boss. Making them atleast partially desolation aligned. While their boss Winston Charles is a wicked wicked man. Encapsulating the slaughter, hunt, desolation, lonely and flesh all at the same time. A multi-avatar in a way.

Who's your favorite character to draw?

Hard to pick but design wise I’ll have to hand it to Lupi(they)! They’re rather fun to draw due to trying to strike a balance between human and animal. Shout out to all the queers like that!

Thanks for asking! Well I was thinking of phrases that harken back to queer history as a whole. Then I was looking through queer tumblr (love yall) and then was reminded of the phrase "We are here, and we are queer" and knew that was a perfect title!
