Just a little preview of the story I’m working on. Any feedback is appreciated and if you feel it's worth supporting my writing I am very grateful. If you like dragons, magic, and urban fantasy then hopefully you find something you enjoy in my work.

Reading the current Avengers in hopes of some quality Ghost Rider adventures with Robbie, Johnny and Cosmic Ghost Rider, only to find miserable, miserable trash and mischaracterization abound:

Between this and turning Johnny Blaze into an evil jackass in the comics, my inner Spirit of Vengeance is weeping today
Being a Ghost rider fan is pain.

First book Knight Terrors about a bounty hunting dragon attempting to protect a family from an ancient evil while contending with a group of dragonslayers came out last year. Now I do have a sequel in the works that should be out late holiday season/early next year. In the meanwhile however a glimpse at my next project starring the grim looking guy above, the mortal agent of Death herself, can be glimpsed via my Patreon. Though a full-fledged book is in the works, short stories will be released through https://www.patreon.com/DavidDracyn

Oh Johnny Blaze....he’s always been isolated and weird, but at least being king of hell is a good excuse for it!

Burnout: An Aden Drake Tale - Chapter One (on Wattpad) https://my.w.tt/qvpxmBMJZU To say exiled dragon turned bounty hunter Aden Drake is down on his luck would be an understatement. His own kind keep an ever watchful and always suspicious eye on his every movement, the mundane day job he's been forced to take is sucking the will to live out of him, and with bounties being few and far between his back rent is getting dangerously high. When a group of desperate mages offer him a high paying job, Aden jumps at the chance to get back in the game and prove he's still the fearsome dragon he's always been. Now all he has to do is retrieve a stolen mystical weapon from the clutches of a pack of Red Caps, return it to his clients, and collect the crazy sum that will more than pay for his ever rising expenses. Of course that is assuming his own kind don't arrest him for murders he didn't commit, the dragonslayers that have put a price on his head don't catch up to him, and the savage Red Cap chieftain doesn't turn him into a new pair of trousers first...

Roy Harper isn’t dead due to the continuing ignorance of the comic book industry. He’s taking a leave of absence to try out for WWE... Admittedly I am more of a Marvel Guy and of the DC characters I do follow (Batman, John Constantine, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter) Arsenal isn’t one of them, but considering the sadness I’ve seen from my friends @caliart and @shamelessnerd, both big fans of the character I thought I’d whip something up on 2k18 for them.

Death smiled. "Ethan, I've been around since the start of everything. I've been here before the Earth was teeming with life and I'll be here long after you and every other creature that draws breath ceases to be. So listen to me when I tell you few things are eternal. There's God, me, and the internet's ability to ship weird crap. Despite humanity often lying to themselves about it, even love tends to be fleeting, a candle that burns out eventually, the flame sometimes extinguished even before I get involved. But every now and then some loves can survive anything, including that eventual meeting with yours truly. This? This may just be one of those times." (A small preview of something I am working on. Ethan Graves works the Grim Reaper herself, but she’s not the creepy stereotype. Well not always. Mostly she’s quite pleasant even if she does enjoy her work a little too much...

If the Twitter response to this is any indication, the entitled brats of today will tell future generations of this this most harrowing hour, with hollowed stares seeing right through the newest flat screen as they recount the horror of videos not loading upon demand.
Meanwhile those of us who are old enough to remember life pre-internet and waiting for hours for the radio to play that song you love so much will give a resounding..."meh."
