Find your truth then acknowledge the present!!

We’ve all heard the phrase “it’s a lot easier to learn things than unlearn things” and it’s so true.

But I’ve been in this space of unlearning for so long that I feel like a little kid that’s learning words for the first time.

There’s a soft gentleness to unlearning that I am appreciative of but there’s still this lingering part of me that feels on edge trying to interact with people as the “new me”.

That small part I can clearly identify as shame and guilt. For hurting so many along the way, for hurting myself.

But the thing is, for the first time in my life I can say that shame and guilt elude to a chance at new beginnings. And then new beginnings eventually lead to new experiences, new love, new memories, new heartbreak…

And the cycle continues. EVERY single time.

There will be new thrills! New chances to love and be loved. New chances to be abundantly yourself.

I’ve lived a pretty amazing life despite the odds. I’ve met amazing people from all of the world. I am blessed with a connection to my roots. I am cherished by my loved ones, I’m hated hopefully only by a few😂.
