How in earth is your computer managing so much CC at a time? I love your creations, but when i try decorating like you my game runs slow or Crashes... Do you use some cool hardware i can buy? 😅

Lol.  Right now it doesn’t!

Until  4 months ago I was playing on a 5 year old asus laptop with an integrated graphics card.  😂 It ran beautifully, much better than my desktop.  The game never crashed.  But it did take forever to load (15 gb cc) and if I actually played the game (not just decorate and build) it was very slow.   

I’m running the game on a new computer now:  Intel Core i7-7700K  @ 4.20 GHz, 16 gb memory, GTX 1080. Load time is 5-6 minutes, gameplay is super smooth, and everything looks really nice .  But it sure as shit don’t want to play nice.  It crashes all the time.  I’m pretty sure it has to do with the amount of cc but I’ve already deleted about 6 gb and I’m not deleting any more.

Sad times.  

I’ve considered going back to the asus but I’m at the point where it really isn’t worth the hassle of reinstalling everything and messing around with graphics rules, etc. I don’t have much time to play anymore anyway, so yeah.  

This game can be a real pain in the ass!

I've been playing skyrim lately as I’m sort of burnt out on the sims.  I don’t normally post non-sims stuff here but my blog has been dead for awhile, and I really liked how these shots turned out.  I promise I won’t make a habit of this :)  Hopefully I’ll find some inspiration and get back into the sims soon.
