Icon made by @milfbrehaorgana!!! Also, none of master/padawan ships, clonecest, or clone/jedi. Is a side-blog so my main doesn't just get covered in sw. I follow from @skoggiis.
the first sith to discover force lighting must have freaked out. Like imagine being used to just moving things with your mind and that happens. I’d be scared.
[id: it’s a drawing of Luke and Leia, both depicted as Blasian with brown skin, based off the Hildebrant poster. Vader’s mask, which is done in a blue hue, is in the background along with the vast expanse of space and stars, and a large star is reflected in one of his helmet’s lenses. Luke is holding Anakin’s ignited lightsaber above his head, illuminating both him and his sister, and he is wearing his white tunic and grey pants from a New Hope. His hair is brown, curly, and sun bleached. Leia stands just beneath him, wearing her white dress and holding a blaster pistol in one hand. She is depicted as hijabi with her white hijab being done in buns on the side of her head. /end id]
blog is proly dead for forseeable future, unless something changes in sw universe to be less *almost-entirely-built-on-racist-shit-and-refusal-to-acknowledge-or-fix-whats-wrong*
okokok i got thoughts (crawling over me like weevils) and im trying to organize them via post.
WHAT IF:
Din Djarin's mandalorian sect was started by escaped clone troopers?
1. Timing-wise, we got no conflicting evidence
2. We got a possible heritage/emotional tie with the clones to mandalorian culture thru jango
3. The helmet rule of the Way can be explained by "how else are you gonna hide the fact that a clone is a runaway trooper with a face known across the galaxy if they don't have an excuse to never take the helmet off?" Have one awkward trooper stutter out some lie about "sorry, sir, can't take it off, it is The Way" and his vode immediately backing him up on that, and you got the beginnings of a creed.
4. The creed/group can be continued by foundlings/war orphans from the clone wars (ex. Waxer, Boil, Numa) that were never told the true reason for the helmet deal and took a more religious/creed-like reasoning behind it.
5. It would explain the reasons behind the Way being archaic or janky to mainstream mandalorians; theres likely not much info avaliable to the average person about the mandalorian culture since they were quite isolated for a while and had a whole culture purge thanks to tcw satine, so the clone troopers would likely pick up and hold onto whatever culture they could find, regardless of the accuracy.
i will not tolerate ANY owen lars slander over kenobi that man is trying to protect his magic son from death wizards okay he’s allowed to be mean to obi wan
master plo koon loves making kids cringe with terribly outdated and misused slang. that said:
because he's actually ancient he meticulously has to keep up with which slang is old enough to be cringe to which generation of younglings and which is so old they don't even know it anymore. He's a walking dictionary of centuries of slang because some of the "younglings" he terrorizes are actually 200 years old by now
