I know I keep saying it's been a while, but uh....it's been a while.

I haven't been on here that much this year, since I've been preoccupied with work and plotting and writing in a discord server that takes up a lot of my time. I'm trying to come back, slowly to not overwhelm myself. We just finished a massive plot on the server I'm in and it'll be nothing but fluff for a while, so I'm hoping this will give me some more time for writing on here and back to my regular schedule of writing fanfics and original works.

ADHD is so debilitating and it isn’t talked about enough. Imagine your body doesn’t produce enough of the most essential neurotransmitter. You are constantly seeking this neurotransmitter through any way possible, and it’s why you get addicted to doing things or focusing so heavily on something you forget to meet every single basic need.

You sit there and question what the fuck is wrong with you because it was so easy to study yet you just didn’t do it. It was so easy to do the things you stopped doing but you literally can’t do them.

Like wtf do you fucking mean I was born with a chemical imbalance that makes me incapable of getting up??? Wtf do you mean I have to take stimulants to counteract crippling ADHD symptoms, and then those stimulants actually just make me like everyone else????

So life decided to fuck me over a bit since Thursday night. A deer hit me on the way home Thursday night and totaled the driver side of my car. We were hoping the insurance would repair it, but said the value of the car was lower than the cost of the repairs, so they're totaling the car. We can't even buy it back, but it'll be okay because I have a rental until March 4th and we're looking for a car on Marketplace that isn't too expensive.

We've found a few options so far, but nothing concrete so far.

So yeah, I've been more active on discord lately so that's also partly why I haven't been here as much. I'm thinking of making a small server centered around writing and all, but not sure yet.

Being in fandom spaces is so surreal-

Bc once your age hits a 'serious' number, you start to think - "damn, I should probably stop geeking and get more serious." But then you scroll and see a 34y/o woman writing fics after driving her kids to school, a 40y/o dude making fanart of his fav super heroes and you realize - "nah, I'm actually good"
