Rewatching TNG and seeing Lore suddenly become genuinely concerned about Noonien's declining health was genuinely heartbreaking. I cannot get over how well Brent Spiner plays this whole family. Going from this devious person who claims he hates his father to suddenly worried about him, but still keeping the same characterisations? Increadible! Whilst also playing the passive Data and the aging and remorseful Noonien in the same scene!? Cannot get enough Soong family content.

My favorite thing about Brent Spiner playing all the Soong men is the fact that these mfs must have the STRONGEST genes in the universe. Literally all of them since the 2100s have looked and sounded and debatably acted EXACTLY the same. It's so funny.

Upon reflection Data is so obviously a robot made by someone who's already accidently made an evil robot and is way over compensating this time. Just the gentlest, least evil dude you can imagine.
