[nods] It is. A good friend of mine has slain countless primals, and I am very fortunate to have met them….

That sounds awful. In that case, I hope Eorzea hasn’t become a wasteland, then. If the beastmen keep summoning their gods, I imagine it’d be easy for it to become that. It’s good to hear that some people can stop the gods, though. Otherwise, they sound almost invincible.

Oh no, they shouldn’t ever be neccessary. The beastmen summon their gods when they feel threatened, which, seeing as Eorzea is a land constantly in danger of being invaded, rather often unfortunately. It’s even worse because primals can more or less influence people into eternal devotion for them. Since they run on faith, sending people to slay them would usually only end up in creating more followers for a primal. 

Fortunately for all of us there are some people immune to primal corruption, and as such they are the only ones capable of destroying the primal threat.

That...sounds like more trouble than its worth, then. Unless you really needed them, I’d hate to see any world turn into something like that.

You should be glad. Summoning primals requires large amounts of crystals and prayer. But the aether inside those crystals are not enough to sustain them and, if left unchecked, they can drain the land of it’s aether, reducing everything to a barren wasteland.

Sounds like there’s a large variety, then. The beast tribes sound more advanced than Disney Castle...maybe even the rest of us. I know of people that can summon their friends, but definitely not someone as powerful as a god.

It depends. There are plenty of animals, like chocobos, that you wouldn’t be able to have a conversation with in anything other than squawks and kwehs. The beast tribes, however, are intelligent enough to have their own faith and even summon their gods, though they did have some help with that last part.

I suppose. As far as I know they mostly just come from a world called Disney Castle. The chipmunks are from there, as well as a dog and a mouse that are here right now. There’s also a duck and some others at that castle, too.

I’d guess they’re less common in your world, then.
