Oh my gosh, she was so good! Romania really could have used a floor routine like this at the test event....
hot take
Belgium’s floor choreo isn’t good it’s just weird. Below is an example of Nina Derwael and Stefania Stanila using the same music, and I much prefer Stanila’s more “normal” choreo (it’s worth noting that Adi Pop did her routine at the training camp Romania had in Sweden and I’m a sucker for Adi Pop’s choreo)

Ok but y'all I know her bars aren't everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine, really I shouldn't like them but I just do, but I have been ROOTING for Becky Downie for YEARS and she deserves this I'm SO happy for her. She came from an era where just qualifying a full Olympic team was a huge deal for GB, if Beth Tweddle birthed this program, Becky Downie raised it, and I'm so glad she finally gets some of the recognition she deserves 😭

i am so proud of angelina melnikova. she grew so much this quad, from a new senior in 2016 that didn’t make the aa finals, to falling on every routine at 2017, and then sorting out her mental blocks/inconsistency/whatever were holding her back through last year and becoming the rock and one of the leaders of team russia right now. she never stopped working hard and even if things were hard sometimes, she knew in the next day she would find her motivation. at euro games she said she was happy for finally breaking 13 on beam, and now she got a 14 at worlds, the biggest meet of the year. she made the podium on every single aa meet she competed this year. she is now an all around world medalist. gelya deserves this so so so much, i couldn’t be prouder. well done, gelya

That’s actually not true. If you fall on a skill, you can receive no CV for it on either side. So the fall cost a point in E, and also 0.4 in CV, which would have been enough to pass Tang. That’s also ignoring the form deduction she incurred on the Pak as well.
Suni’s fall cost her bronze but TXJ still would’ve come out ahead

If you don’t want to deal with NBC and commercials (they skip a lot of routines fro commercials too!) Touch VPN is free (as a google Chrome extension) and will let you watch the FIG stream on youtube with Olly.
@bbc why are you showing us the same routines instead of showing the ones we missed HMMM

This is coming from a huge David stan, but I don’t wuite understand how he gets such huge E scores on P bars. I don’t see the same control from him as other top Pbar workers and he has some loose core sometimes.

Smh I know Suni getting that close to Simone was exciting but let's not pretend this is the ONLY time she's ever been remotely challenged, Larisa Iordache didn't get within a point of a clean 4/4 Simone for y'all to act like Suni getting within 0.5 of Simone with a fall is the most she's ever been challenged. Justice for Lari!!!
