Finally, some recognition for my smarts around here /j Anyways read this, it’s hilarious and genius. 

Summary: Years before the Battle of Yavin, years before the scuffle on the Dune Sea of Tatooine that ended in a sarlaac, Boba Fett made a disturbing, and frankly irritating, discovery. For several years, a small group of former clone troopers had been flying around the Galaxy taking bounty hunting jobs--as him. But, as life is a fickle thing, and what had irked him so much then could prove to be his best hope now in defeating the Pykes and saving his new city from destruction.

Basically, I altered the whole accelerated aging thing a bit so more clones are around post-Empire, and then I fixed some bits of The Book of Boba Fett bc stuff Bothered me. Enjoy random shenanigans!

not a plane; ship or speeder

it’s not steel; it’s durasteel

books are rare; holorecords or datapads

it’s not a glass pane it’s transparisteel

caf is the equivalent of coffee

it’s not paper it’s a flimsi

medcenter is a hospital

Star Wars can be very similar to things we’re already used to, but getting familiar with some of these terms can make your writing really fit in with the universe

The way they present Maul as an actual monster in this scene always gives me goosebumps. The music in the background sounds like something from a horror film. The distant sound of footsteps coming from just beyond the edge of the shadows. She can see his silhouette, but not the details. It’s like the sound of the ground shaking in Jurassic Park or hearing the Jaws theme in the movies. You know what’s coming, but you can’t quite see it yet. At first he is presented as a shape and an ominous sound. And Ahsoka lowers her weapons for a moment because I imagine this is the first time she’s seen him and she’s probably thinking she’s completely outmatched (which she is at the moment). Maybe she’s seen images of him from the archives, but I like to believe that she had no image of Maul in her head other than what she had imagined from the stories of the “monster” that Obi-wan cut in half and yet survived.

the haka, the carving of the stick totally reminiscent of carving taiaha, the pūkana as boba learns to wield the stick, the discussions of colonialism and the indigenous rights to ancestral land.....i can't believe they packed so much into one episode. this show is going to kill me, i can't believe we're getting so much positive representation for māori in such a high profile show

the way i immediately started crying when boba started talking about how tattoine is the ancestral home of the tuskens and they have a right to live there in peace.....thank you Temuera Morrison for using such a huge medium to promote indigenous land rights

Watching Temuera Morrison bring traditional Māori fighting styles into The Book of Boba Fett while helping the Tuskens to take their land back from hostile settlers is something that can be so deeply personal-
