Finally got to watch the season 8 premier and I spent half the time running away from my screen because bees scare the shit out of me (and these were the killer type!). Bee's in Driver #2's throat? I think I almost cried in fear.

But all that aside, good episode. Yay for flirty BuckTommy!

Is there anything about the Star Trek universe that is maga adjacent?? Besides the Mirror Universe, of course.

I, for one, am happy these actors feel comfortable being loud about how much you and your friend suck. If you’re doing something so against that show as voting for a rapist convicted felon who wants to end democracy, what did you expect? Especially from those women?

Actors being loud about how these assholes are NOT welcome makes fandom safer for a lot more people who deserve to be there.

This would be good for Buck. Him being the worrier instead of action guy. Then him going around and apologizing to friends and family for putting them thru that.

What if, after the opening disaster if Tommy is involved in some daring and dangerous hijinks we get a call back to the “most fun since I was struck by lighting” comment from Buck and the “you need to raise your bar kid” from Tommy in the station tour. But this time, Buck being like “how about we don’t do anything like this again” and Tommy’s like “what this wasn’t more fun than the cruise ship/what, this didn’t raise the bar?”

I don’t know if this makes sense, I kinda lost the train of thought halfway through this. This was approximately what I was going for but not quite.
