when or if I started shipping it.

A certain person informed me that it existed and told me to ship it for the angst. And I mean, fuck, that’s a good argument

my thoughts:

Shipping it for the angst is all well and good, but consider: galra!Keith turning to the dark side and ruling the empire by Zarkon’s side, the evil power couple of the universe

What makes me happy about them:

Zarkon having a soft spot for mullets tbh

What makes me sad about them:

It is a Doomed Love, the Romeo and Juliet of the galaxy! Divided by the fact that Zarkon is fucking evil and Keith is a cute smol with some morals

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

I mean I’m only two chapters into what is probably the only zeith fanfic and so far nothing has annoyed me, it’s deliciously angsty

things I look for in fanfic:

Angst. The One Where Galra Keith Has a Hairball and Zarkon Comforts Him

My kinks:

Keith being taken prisoner by the galra and Zarkon realising he’s hot af. Basically the plot of the fic I’m reading

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

I think Zarkon/Shiro (sharkon? ziro?) would also make an excellent angst ship. Bring it. And Keith I ship with Shiro, Lance and Hunk

My happily ever after for them:

They crush Voltron and take over the rest of the free universe and Keith gets to wear some of that revealing goth gear that female villains always seem to get. He would rock it - with the mullet he’d look like a lesbian emo rockstar from the ‘80s. That’s what I’m in this fandom for

Sugar daddy Au

So i had a random thought last night when reading some fanfics and realized that there is no sugar daddy au where either the sugar daddy is Zarkon or Kolivan or Antok and keith is the sugar baby. Hear me out: If Zarkon is the SD, then he’s a bit oc, where he is gentle, caring outside but still carries the air of authority along with handing out bad punishment to naughty sugar babies (keith), making them work hard to earn something they really want and spoiling them on other things. If the SD is Kolivan or Antok, Air of authority, playful, or whatever would fit their personality. I may be off about the personalities for them but i think they would make for interesting sugar daddies. Just an idea if anyone is interested.

Paperwork Hell

So anyone remember that one post I made about my Nothing Ever Goes Bad AU? (You shouldn’t have to read it to understand the ficlet) Yeah, finally got the nerve to write for it so… yeah

My ships may be a slight turn off for some, but… Loving and respecting Zeith (Zarkon x Keith) ahead!!! -OT3 of Zeith+Honerva is heavily reference but like no actual interactions-

Keithal sighed and fought the urge to hit his head against the table. He was tired of sitting in place all day, tied to his desk like he was married to it (not even his actual partners demanded this much time from him). Normally, he was tasked with the more physically demanding aspects of the Blade, his team knowing that he prefered it. The never ending reports and logs weren’t something he often interacted with outside of necessity. Otherwise he left it to his secretary, who somehow enjoyed the paperwork. His secretary wasn’t an option right now. 

There were a lot of things that he wanted to blame for this moment, the red tape halting his every move, the never ending numbers that didn’t add up the way they needed to, and the constant changes to plans that had been perfectly fine not even a varga earlier. Namely, he blamed Kolivan and Antok. He was happy for his long term friends, but Kolivan’s pregnancy and eventual parental leave (that Antok, Thace, Ulaz, and Keithal were forcing him into for his own safety) were throwing a wrench in a lot of their plans.

Around this time, he was generally overseeing the training of new recruits, but in preparation for Kolivan’s leave he had taken on part of his friend’s workload, a lot of which his secretary didn’t have the clearance to look at. Stars abound knew that Antok would be more or less useless the moment Kolivan’s pregnancy went into it’s late stages, and so he would have to find someone to replace, or at least pick up the slack of Kolivan and Antok until they were both ready to return to work….

Alright. 

I think I might be calling this done finally. 

This is the finished piece for @the-wenzel for her wonderful fic series Find Me in the Shadows. Her writing is truly wonderful, and I strongly recommend that everyone slither over to her page to check out her glorious writings. 

I was so inspired by her fic, and I couldn’t resist trying to create something to show my appreciation for the story.

I was literally in the middle of working with this color scheme on Keith when I realized that this was not how @the-wenzel had described him for the fic. I abandoned this scheme to get it right (derp) and finally decided to come back and post the alternate version.

“Be my Red Paladin.” It was a tempting offer, and there were a lot of possibilities that came with it. He could ensure the safety of those he cared about. He could get Zarkon to spare Earth. He could ensure Shiro never had to fight again. But, could Keith do it? Could he really go against the other Paladins and embrace his Galran side, to join Zarkon and pilot Red for him? – Because why would you torture or kill the first Paladin the Red Lion has chosen in ten thousand deca-phoebs when you can seduce him to your side and NOT piss off the Red Lion? (Keith looks like a child next to him, omg.) I’ve been planning to draw Zeith since I first started drawing Voltron, tbh. I’m so happy with how this came out. Honestly, this is based on a fic I’m working on called “Needs of the Many”, where Keith sacrifices himself so the Castle of Lions can escape while he’s distracting Zarkon and he ends up being Zarkon’s rather pampered prisoner. And I should really post that, but I want to do some fine-tuning and stuff first. Anyone wanna Beta?

But Zarkon become more attracted to him and tried to bring him back to ‘where he is supposed to be’.

note: Zarkon is emperor of the whole galaxy, of course he had many concubines and a special room for them.

It’s easy for Galra to be able to find their soulmate.

Not only their soulmate’s name is already written on their shoulders since birth, the name will be written based on their soulmate’s native language. That why the Galra will have not have trouble knowing where their soulmate came from.

But even so there are still Galra who have difficulty finding their soulmate.

Zarkon had always been astonished about his soulmates. Yes that’s right, Soulmates. He not only has one name engraved on his shoulders, he has several of it. Not to mention the fact that there is one name that he could not read completely because a third of the names written in Galra’s language, the other third part was written in Altean, while the last third is written in a foreign language that he did not even recognize. (Having lived for 10,000 years, Zarkon finally understood why he could have multiple soulmates. After finding a new species named ‘Human’, finally he can fully read the last name of his soulmate.)

Keith had always been astonished with the birthmark on his shoulder. Somehow the form of his birthmark different with another birthmarks in general. Usually the birthmark shaped one small symbol, but not with his. His birthmark is a collection of symbols that are combined into one long sequence, as if like a sentence in a foreign language. Keith also recalled how his father always trying to cover the birthmark and even forbid him show his birthmark to others. (After his ‘brother’ was kidnapped; joined alien’s defense forces; and attend blade’s trial revealed that he is a descendant of Galra, Keith finally understood what the true meaning of his birthmark. And no, he was not happy to know)
