@lcstxsouls - rumple & hook
he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, but he was... right here in front of him. he was riddled with darkness, but the light was really trying to overcome him, so he stayed away from people, and just roamed in the darkness, just watching curiously. then his curiousity was sidetracked when he came face to face with the pirate. “didn’t expect you to be here detective...” his rich scottish accent rolled off his tongue, and then he raised his hand. “sorry... i’m still a little too used to wish hook in hyperion... wait... which hook are you?”

@eternclwhispcrs - belle and rumple
he hadn’t been doing much in town. he kept himself to himself, which was something he always did, and he kept quiet-- remained in the shadows. he missed belle... his belle. the beauty and the light of his life. she was the light within his darkness, the only source of such a thing that he ever had in his life. a walk was what he desired on a certain morning straight through the middle of town. he didn’t know why he desired too, but he felt the need, and just when fate decided to throw out why he did it, the answer was right in front of him. there stood before him... the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes upon, both within and out. “belle...” his voice was dry, and it wavered as shock began to ride through his body. “you’re... you’re here...” he was concerned, but gods he was happy to see her.

Bae knew how much his father loved him, knew the man behind the monster did have a heart. He had no doubt about that. But he needed much more than love from his father, he needed good to bubble within his father’s chest. He needed light, he needed a way out of magic.
“ It benefited you. It did nothing for me. “ At the sight of the outstretched hand, Bae pulled away even further. He took a step back, a flash of pain appearing in his eyes before disappearing back into the blank brown. “ I was okay, though. I do appreciate you becoming the dark one to protect me from the war but… a real hero would be done with it, a real father would be done with it. You didn’t walk out of my life, you ran out of it. “
it killed him. personally, killed him. then maybe he did need to stay away from bae. he couldn’t have weakness, but at the same time, he was the reason he sacrificed his mortality, and the light that he had held in his heart once, he was that reason. it would have all been for nothing if he walked away from him like the coward he used to be. “i was wrong to do that to you bae, but you have to understand what i am. what am i supposed to do bae? what am i supposed to do to make things right for you? i sacrificed what i thought was right to make you happy. i made a mistake, but only because i thought what i was doing was better...” he closed his eyes. “i thought i did the right thing, but quite obviously i was so wrong. and i truly do wish i could take it back, but i can’t. you know that i can’t.”

hayley turned & focused her gaze on the hooded man, crossing her arms. “ you have got to be kidding me. ” the hybrid shook her head for a moment, not knowing why she was talking to someone so mysterious. it didn’t seem to surprise her, though. “ so, we’re in the unknown with no way out ? got it, thanks. ”
the dark one watched the other carefully and very slowly nodded. “indeed it is. i’ve been trying to find a way for a while now, and being that i am usually pretty alert with things that have happened or gone on, this time i am not, and that in itself is concerning...” his native scottish language was apparent. “its not so bad here... though being seperated by ones that you... love...is hard...”

“ where the hell am i ? ” hayley muttered under her breath. none of this made sense, it was ridiculous. for what felt like the millionth time, her life just had to get overbearingly complicated.
“well dearie, it seems you to have wandered into the unknown. this place is different to any other place. it isn’t... normal...” his voice was calm, and hood was up, covering his face. “and apparently, there isn’t a way out, either...”

Bae knew all too well that magic came with a price. What he didn’t know until now was that that price did not always fall to the user. Innocent people were harmed. Those who hurt innocent people were bad, so to him it was just common sense to know that it made the user a monster if they continued their usage. Rumplestiltskin did and Bae could not see past that.
“ And how would it have benefitted our family in any way? “ He shot back, desperate for his feelings to be heard. “ I didn’t care how they treated me – I didn’t care what they thought of me! I cared what you thought of me, how you treated me. We aren’t more if we stoop to their level. “
bae was perhaps his only weakness here, but he had to try and not let it be that. he was the DARK ONE. He was one of the most powerful beings ever to live, if not the MOST. he had sacrificed so much to get where he was, and yet it felt like it was all thrown back in his face. anger boiled deep within him, the darkness swimming within his soul, itching to get out and be let loose, and yet, deeper within himself, he still held love. he held LOVE for his SON. “it benefited us greatly, do you not see that?” he outstretched his hand to his son before pointing back at himself. “i sacrificed my mortality just so they would not try and hurt you bae, and i would do it a million more times over, just so you would never, be hurt. i love you more than anything bae, you are my son, and even though your mother walked out of your life, i will never do that, no matter how many times you push me away. i may be... the dark one...” he waved his fingers up, swirling them around twice, before his head slightly tilted to the side. “but i am still your father, and i will do anything to make sure people do not attempt to hurt you.”

“ How can you assume so quickly that I am not who I say I am? “ Bae questioned, his eyebrows furrowed. Confused danced on his own face now, deeply wondering why the man thought of him as simply someone other than his son? Was what happened and their deal public knowledge? If it was, it meant there were later mentions of him and… he truly did not wish to think of what accompanied mentions, what feelings accompanied.
“ Yes. I promise you, I’m not lying. “ He answered, taking a careful step backwards. The distance between them was not one he wanted to decrease. “ Y-you’re… a monster. I need you to know what you did. “
this just couldn’t be happening. his bae was dead, how was he here in front of him? but then again, anything was possible, though all magick came with a price ! what price was this though? who was going to pay for this price? not even the dark one himself could bring back the dead in such a way, which made him ever so curious as to what held such power. where could he get it? all that power, he craved it so much. he was riddled with darkness and power like a disease that was taking over his body.
“a monster bae i... i did this for us...” he blurted,,, pointing to him and then himself. “i did this for both of us, so no one could treat us the way people did. we was nothing more than dirt on their shoes bae, but this way we are more. i did this for us please... please can you not see that?” he stuttered, eyes still wide.

@besottedsouls
where was the laughter? where were the crowds? his family? the loss of royal red still felt odd to him since he passed the business over to philip, but that was the last thing that he remembered before he woke up here. people were thriving and wearing things that were different, buildings looked a little different, and WOW, just WOW the technology. it was all to fascinating for him. when he found something or someone intriguing, he could only focus on that one thing. he couldn’t let this become like the situation he had with the swedish nightingale. oh that woman’s voice was of a siren, a sound that should only be heard on endless waters. a bar distracted him first off, and when he entered, his first instinct was to take off his hat, but then he remembered -- PHILIP. a soft grin crossed his features at the memory before he moved to sit at the stool, eyes averting to all that was around him, but then he noticed a familiar face. PHILIP? no, he couldn’t be here, that was just impossible! but then again, it was impossible for him to be here as well, right? “well if it isn’t for my over compensated apprentice...” his voice was laced with his american accent, that was filled with pride. “but that is not right, is it? no, you ARE the GREATEST SHOWMAN.”

A soft huff of an annoyed laugh escaped him, his eyes rolling at the elder man’s reaction to seeing him. Bae should have known that he’d believe it to be impossible, he thought it was impossible himself. Getting off that hellish island was a miracle but he was beginning to question what was worse – Neverland or a land with this monster.
“ You know exactly who I am. “ He shot back. His own tone was angry, his chocolate eyes full of pain. “ You sent me away, you broke our deal. You… Y-you… You pushed me away like you did her. “
honestly, he was convinced that this was another curse that had been put upon him, and others around him. he knew that there were so many there that were not from this rather ghastly place. eyes scanned all that was around them carefully before he looked upon the other in front of him, taking another step towards him. it looked as though he was telling the truth, but his son was dead, he couldn’t be here, “no... no your not bae...” he stuttered, his voice now laced with more confusion than anything. “sick joke you are playing! you have three seconds to tell me who you are or you will regret it...” he threatened, voice laced with anger, but then he properly looked at him, which caused him to freeze in surprise. “b... bae?” it was like all the anger washed from him as he stumbled another step towards his son.

[ starter for @uncversecollide // baelfire / rumple ]
He could tell what this world was from the second he woke up in it. It was familiar, like London was but with… improvements. The new developments did not take away from the fact that this was clearly the land without magic. But what confused him most was the familiar man walking in front of him. The man lacked the crocodile skin and kept the careful limp from before the dark one’s curse invaded him, but he knew it was is papa- no, Rumplestiltskin. His papa was dead. Bae had to get his attention, give him the angry talking to he truly deserved.
So he spoke, his words clear.
“ Rumplestiltskin, I believe there to be needed consequences for you breaking our deal. “
he was everything that darkness was, the dusk that became the night, the temptation that he was when it came to his power. he was feared, and hated by nearly everyone, but that didn’t stop them begging him to help when it came to a threat in their life, and then they would strike a deal. his heart was shrouded with the blackness, a tar like substance riddling through his heart, but there was room for that one bit of light, and that light was belle, and baelfire, but he was dead, his son was dead. he was RUMPELSTILTSKIN being the dark one was one way to deal with it, even though it was never the right decision. he never made the right decision. a voice echoed, and his name was spoken with such anger that it caused a frown to cross his face, and he turned, about to tell the other that they were brave for speaking in such a way, but then there he was. no. he couldn’t have really been there. he was dead! “b-bae...” his voice wavered, and he took a step back, reptile-like eyes widening in shock. “impossible y-you cannot be here! what trickery is this? who are you?!” his voice suddenly built with anger, and his demand was obvious as he finally took a step back closer to the other. he did NOT like to be fooled, especially when it came to his own son.
