Waking up in the morning and be productive isnât that easy for most people, itâs just way easier and cosy to just go back in bed!
I get why you love so much staying in bed, trust me. But itâs also true that in these uncertain times where we donât have the outside motivation of school or work, itâs very important to learn how to be productive at home.
Being productive brings you closer to achieving your goals and creating a consistent routine will help you do that quicker. Not knowing what to do all the time makes you waste so much time that could be spent actually doing things!
How to structure your morning routine effectively:
When you are creating your productive morning routine itâs important to know exactly what your goals are. Do you want to exercise and get fit? Do you want to get your homework done? Do you want to work on your blog?
You need to tailor your routine according to those goals, so donât follow other peopleâs routines just because they look good and âaestheticâ, that wonât get you anywhere with your own goals.
The first few days of trying your new routine are just a trial. If something seems off, you donât feel good or you just canât follow it, donât get discouraged! Try again the next day and if the problems persist, itâs time to make some changes to your plan!
Also, your routine doesnât necessarily have to include big tasks such as cleaning the whole house or completing an entire project, it could be composed of many little tasks such as making your bed. Putting all those little tasks into a to-do list might be helpful at first so you can check-off all the completed things and see what you were and werenât able to accomplish. It will also look longer but at the same time, less intimidating considering that those smaller tasks will take you less time! â
Ideas for your own morning routine:
Make your bed
Drink water
Brush your teeth
Take a shower
Exercise
Do a face/hair mask
Read
Bible or religious studies
Bullet Journal
Clip your nails
Shave
Do your eyebrows
Try a new outfit
Try a new make-up look
Go for a walk

Go grocery shopping
Connect with your loved ones
Call your relatives or friends

Clean your kitchen sink and counters
Clean your toiletÂ
Clean your bathroom sink and counters

Do some meal prepping
Pay your bills
Do laundry
Pair socks and fold underwear

Love you,Â

Here is a list of some YouTube ASMR ambiences/soundscapes (theyâre all hyperlinked, so click away!) Unlike traditional ASMR, these videos do not feature any people. Talented YouTubers have used software to create rendered environments with layered sounds, with many of these ambiences inspired from fantasy to others based in reality. I find music with lyrics to be distracting sometimes, but these are great background noises for focusing, studying, doing homework, and even for relaxing. Enjoy and good luck âĄ

hey friends!! a lot of you ask me for tips on things all the time + this is just some really good advice iâve learnt throughout my years of being a student shared with you:
revision
study frequently so when exams/tests come by you only need to revise your shorter notes [you will thank yourself later]
i know itâs tedious but try to always do your homework [itâll help you in the long run]
do your readings before class, this will help you understand better!!
use time wisely, for example study on the bus on the way to school [i really like doing this]
teach yourself material by giving lessons to soft toys or maybe using actual tools found in your household [i like using this method particularly for biology especially with water]
if you have to read to revise, read aloud
record yourself to be able to listen later when on the bus or something [i like doing this with poetry]
make sure to always get enough sleep, itâs not worth it losing sleep over studying! [also i find it better to wake up a little early to revise than sleep late]
incense works wonders if youâre trying to calm yourself down whilst studying
keep a hot beverage around when youâre studying + reward yourself by drinking a little bit of it when you want to
get rid of distractions while youâre studying, put your phone on flight mode or leave it to charge somewhere
if music doesnât hinder your attention span, then listen to it whilst studying/doing homework [i suggest classical music/coffee shop noises/rain sounds] ~ [my spotify playlist // classical favourites // get ur studying on // flourishment]
watch videos on a particular topic before you cover it in class
if your syllabuses are available online, download them + print them out
have an organised desk, it helps you feel less stressed
use the pomodoro technique to study
make sure you have good lighting
work out past exam papers if theyâre available to you, these are really good practice for your exam!
talk to your teachers during their office hours if you need to, thatâs what theyâre there for
if youâre too afraid to do the latter, send them an email when you need them!
have different files for every subject to keep you organised
donât neglect any subject- just give them the time they need + prioritise
use a planner/bullet journal to help you plan your week
school stuff
smile at people, you have no idea how much it could brighten their day [plus your smile is great!!!]
always keep a water bottle handy
make your school lunch in the evening so you can sleep a bit more in the morning + not spend your money on school lunches
always take your headphones + charger to school [if theyâre allowed]
keep some emergency money or something in your pencil case, you never know when you might need them!
if you menstruate make sure to keep a bag with stuff for when youâre menstruating [if not for you, maybe your friends may need something too]
take naps on the bus if the journey is long [make sure you donât sleep + end up on the other side of the city/country]
if you have free lessons, utilise them! do your work at school if it can be done there so you are able to study/relax at home!
always take a book with you to school just in case you ever get bored
go to a guidance counselour if you need one [they can help with practically anything you may need!]Â
go to private tutoring lessons if you need them/can afford them
personal life
take pictures, lots of them!!! not just for instagram or something, theyâre actually a really great memory
donât forget to visit your relatives every now and then
watch the news/read articles to help you stay in touch with the real world
donât worry so much about social media honestly from experience, itâs trivial anyway. indulge yourself in the real world + spend time with family and friends!!
donât compare yourself to others, youâre not them + they are not you!
try to get some exercise done, even if itâs just using the stairs instead of a lift or dancing around in your room
always keep yourself hydrated
remember to take a day off once a week, itâll help you avoid burnout
eat fruits/nuts as a snack!!Â
+ my masterposts
notes, studying, and self-study resources
self-study resources
supplies
igcse resources
improving your handwriting
how to studyblr

organisation
aesthetically pleasing notes

biology
space!!!!

shading colour tips
hey yall its me the Art Mom⢠to help you shade pretty
rule 1: DO NOT SHADE WITH BLACK. EVER. IT NEVER LOOKS GOOD.Â
red- shade with a slightly darker shade of purple
orange- slightly darker and more saturated shade of red
yellow- i think like..a peach could work but make it a really light peach
green- shade with darker and less saturated shade of blue or teal
blue- shade with purple
purple- a shade thats darker than the purple youâre using and maybe a little pink (MAYBE blue)
pink- darker shade of red
white- a really light lavender or blue..or i guess any really light colour??
black- okay listen dont use pure black to colour anything unless you want to leave it with flat colours because you cant really shade black lol
grey- a slightly darker shade of purple or blue (less saturated)
brown- slightly darker and less saturated shade of purple or red
