temporarily (?) locked out of facebook and instagram, i was searching for another, more happy way of blogging (or as they say now, microblogging)

and what ive sorted out is that beyond just creating a new site (im leaning towards wix), tumblr might meet my needs. either that or substack. its a crapshoot in a sense, either way, because these megaplatforms can easily turn on you, i have gobs of writing stored on facebook that i now have to excavate and liberate into document files, and that will take some time, supposing that i can even get back into facebook, and when i do, will have to just use it for advertising, which is essentially pointing to the patreon, the animistarts site, or this tumblr...

giving everyone a microphone may end up not being a great idea, because democracy is essentially hijacked by the most monstrous aspects of us.
