i’ve just gotten to the point in my bat!vampire!Bucky fic where they do the thing and i hadn’t planned on it, but turns out Steve is h o t a n d b o t h e r e d there wasn’t supposed to be sex in this but it might happen uh oh

if there was to be, say, a stucky fairy/fantasy AU,,,,, who would fit more as a fairy…? cause like, i’m feeling twink!steve (except it could also be thicc!steve???!!! idk which one??!!) but my first instinct was bucky, though i think that’s just bc i love him; like i already did a mythical AU in which he was the creature, you know? is it steve’s turn or do i continue my bias? so far my bias is tipping the scales.

-there are two characters in this story: 1) the man who is a fairy––not a traditional one btw, i got unique, inspired ideas––and 2) the (nosy) neighbor

-one of these characters is new to the neighborhood; it’s the same person no matter who is who (in both cases, bucky is the character who’s new to the neighborhood)

In the case of option:

A) Bucky is the kind-of-annoying neighbor who just moved in and wants a friend. Steve is the kind-hearted, sweet, not-really-hiding-anything-but-also-definitely-not-telling-you-everything guy who everyone wants to know but he doesn’t trust easy.

B) Bucky is the reclusive, shy, secret-hiding man who all anyone knows about is that he’s good with plants and, after only a few weeks being there, has already created the best garden on the block. Steve 1) is jealous of Bucky’s garden and 2) has lived in the house next door since forever; he’s the nice-in-a-pushy-way guy who wants to make Bucky feel welcome. Steve is also slightly confrontational.
