You haven’t been to the dentist in years. But you decided to take your health more seriously which means going to the evil scary dentist of your nightmares.

What a pleasant surprise to see that your doctor is as fine a Greek statute.

Dr. Ratio could tell that you were apprehensive by your posture. Based on that assumption, he concluded that opting for flavoured gloves may improve your experience.

Only a glance at the back of your mouth lets him know that you’re a good sucker. You most likely spent the night before exercising those luscious lips of yours.

The way your tongue would instinctively lick the unfamiliar finger, how your mouth would start salivating, easing the sucking-

Dr. Ratio retracts his hand, breaking the small tread of saliva linking his thumb to your tongue. The realisation of your act hits hard and you hurry to stutter apologies after apologies.

He looks so disgusted at your conduct. You are so embarrassed and yet he will still put back his finger between your lips. This time however, you try your best to not disturb him in his work.

If I’m being honest, I don’t like yanderes who only care about themselves. I don’t like the ones who could hardly give a damn about their darlings other than the fact that they’re theirs. They’d lock them up in dog cages or a make-shift prison cell, perhaps, even chained to a bathroom with no care about them. They treat them like prisoners, only giving them basic care.

No. Not my thing. 

That isn’t yandere.

Yandere is about being so hopelessly in love and devoted to your object of affection, your darling. It’s about being so deeply in love with someone that those feelings distort into obsession. And it’s not always about murder-fuelled thoughts or raging jealousy, it’s the idea that without your darling, you are hopeless. You can’t function without them, they are the oxygen that fills your lungs, the sun that guides you home. Without them, you feel empty and hollow, like you were born a second too early to appreciate this world. Your heart feels too heavy, your mind doesn’t feel right, and the people around you don’t matter anymore, because you just can’t function, can’t exist.

A yandere needs their darling’s validation and attention. They need YOU to tell them how great they are, that they’ve been doing a good job– because they can’t get it from anyone else. You become their sole motivation in life.

They don’t necessarily have to be devoted to you, spend their days attached to your hip and stalking you from behind. I mean, yes, those yanderes are great and I could go on and on about them, but I think I’ve touched on this before. Yanderes are allowed to exist outside of their darling. They’re allowed to have hobbies and work and things they treasure that aren’t just centred around their darling…

But they need YOU to help them, to motivate them and get them ready and going to fight whatever obstacles they face in life. They dream, fantasise about having you as their spouse, their partner, their best friend. Just knowing that they can call you up, maybe even get a text message before a big life event (like a sports game or a once in a lifetime job interview), they need that.  They want to know that they have an ally in life, someone who will always be there for them. Someone who cares enough to see that they’re well-fed and clothed. Who will make sure they’re healthy and happy and comfortable and loved. Who will be able to give them confidence whenever they’re lacking.

And the only probable person they can see that coming from, is you. And if they have to do some under-handed things to get you by their side, be it stalking to figure out all the things you like, so that the next time you guys meet they’ll know exactly what to say to get into your good books, then so be it. And if they happen to be a little deluded, a little demented, and they decide the best course of action is to kidnap you and chain you by your ankle to their apartment/room, then that’s what they have to do.

In the end, as long as they have you, does the journey really matter?

as you play through the game, he realizes he has no route option — no matter what, every other character will inevitably fall in love with you, and you'll do the same, but he is the only one of the characters who isn't an option.

upon realizing he can delete character files, he's upset. he can't change anything in the game, he can't just create a route for himself. there is no way that you will fall in love with sunday.

of course he didn't want to delete anybody, he loved them — even his sister was an option, and sunday couldn't fathom the very idea of deleting her.

but in the end, they're all characters. you are the only one who is real.

sunday does everything he can to drive you away from them. he makes them obsessive, he makes them completely unlikable. and they still fall for you, and you still pick one of them. he drives aventurine to suicide, and sparkle stabs herself in front of you. he can't bring himself to give robin a death like the others — he deletes her file, rather hesitantly.

and suddenly, the next thing you know, you're in an office. you can't see a thing outside the windows, like the room has floated up in the sky.

but why look out the windows when you have sunday?

he's there forever, head rested in his palm as he leans on the desktop, staring at you.

no need to save the game, he's not going anywhere!

What if ft. Sunday

Note that the following is just a random thought I had and so consider it as a first draft (,,,>_<,,,)

What if Sunday had a secret girlfriend during his time as a priest and she has a high libido. (They met through Robin.) In public Sunday and her don’t do much aside glance exchange when Robin isn’t looking, sometimes when Sunday would hold her hand behind his back. When she would feel bold, however, she would still a kiss from him(on the cheeks of course, she doesn’t to compromise her lover’s position :3). Our leader of the Oak family would then hide his face with his wings and clear throat to regain composure.

Imagine if during a pyjamas party, she sneaks out of our favourite singers room to do « seduce » our dear Sunday? It’s giving dead girl walking (heathers: the musical) like “See, I decide that I must ride you till I break you”, something along those lines. “Innocent” Sunday would barely attempt to reason her because let’s be honest, he is desperate to touch his beautiful lover too but it has to for good measure. One thing leading to another and our dear Sunday is sitting on his with his lover on his clothed laps, moving her hips back and forth, desperate for some friction. Sunday can’t help but pushing her chest against his during their passionate kiss. At that moment, he feels stupid for resisting that temptation but at the same time he knows he is wrong for succumbing to it.

All those thoughts came to a halt when they heard a knock at the door. It was Robin, asking about her friend’s whereabouts. The couple exchanged glances as their faces turned pale.

Random thought: Gilmore Girls 💭

I’m at episode 5 season 1. So far, Rory is best girl and Lorelai is such a child. I don’t like the guy that calls best girl “Mary” too. Chicago guy is so yandere coded, I was kinda put off by it but now after the bus scene I kinda like him? Plus he is cute. Actually he creeps me out. He is kinda too pushy.( >~<)"

The teacher (I think Max?) x Lorelai coffee date is quite funny X)

I’m watching the show because of Rory, to motivate myself to study more and indeed, I think it is working. ><

My favourite parts of writing visual novels are the brainstorming and the outlining. Experiencing your idea taking form before your eyes is as thrilling as seeing your animation after adding the in-betweens!

I'm currently working on August Project, and I hope to release the full game by... August, haha!
