I posted it, but I think it's still being "approved". I'll post an extra sauce just in case it won't go through. Half my posts are being "investigated", though I haven't actually insulted anyone. Here we go: I can't find any articles about losing a license at the moment, so you can ignore that if you want, but I do have loads on the dangers of obesity, and numerous studies that disagree with HAES. One cannot be fat and healthy. It's just not possible, even if one is "fit".

I have more around here somewhere, if you want more.
I don't disagree that obese people should attempt to live healthy and engage in active and wholesome lifestyle changes instead of crash dieting or doing too much exercise. On the contrary, strenuous exercise in obese people can cause muscle tears and bone fractures, and can make someone not want to do it at all. I usually tell someone who is very overweight to not do anything more than take a brisk walk daily, as running can do so much damage is you carry a lot of weight, and to monitor their eating. Weightloss and fitness is 80% in the kitchen, and 20% excercise, and one cannot outrun a bad diet. Even thin people who have a bad diet can suffer from many issues, like scurvy, anemia, and malnutrition, and these people often develop "old people" diseases almost as fast as someone who is overweight.
But, unfortunately, many people who are overweight do not realize how many calories they really eat. If I can find it, I'll post it, but a recent study on some obese patients found that many of them severely underestimated the calories they ate, and some had snacked and not realized it. Many people don't realize that healthy foods can be calorie dense as well. A handful of peanuts is about 300 calories, and nuts are by no means unhealthy unless you happen to be allergic.
