in this class we were working with and without flash and using different lights with slow shutter speed.
we had to show the difference between natural light and flash light and show each angle as well

these are from my most resent class learning about external flash and how we can use it in different ways. i tried many different ways like using the flash off the wall to get different angles of light. for one of them we had to get under a table to get the refection off the roof.
i tried to use many different amounts of flash with my photos to see how much the flash can change an image and how with very little flash only the prominent features were caught
my favourite type of these pictures was when i used the colour cover for the flash to give it a different look, i also began to combine the colours to give off a gradient effect to it.
in opinion the ones with multiple colours gave the best outcome.

these are pictures from our most resent lab. In this lab we were learning to use lighting and how to manipulate it onto our models face. We used gold foil to reflect the sun and add a golden hue to their face. One of these images is taken without the gold foil to show the contrast between them and show how much of a difference it can make to someone's face

junji ito's manga hanging blimps is where this image is from. It is a horror manga. this inspires me because of its horrific setting and imagery. it also has talk of suicide in it.
