double (or triple) checking everything; yes, even words you can usually spell without problems (Exhibit A: double checking the word "language" in the title...)

typing "any word + meaning" into your preferred search engine, hoping the result which comes up will reassure you that yes, it means exactly what you think it meant/it works in the context you want to use it in (and you feel let down when it confirms that no, it is something entirely different)

re-editing already gramatically correct and working sentences because you think you know a better more fitting word instead of that particular word/you realize it's too complicated so you edit to simplify/you notice (sometimes belatedly!) a spelling mistake which you just cannot leave like that, even though somebody already saw it anyway and it's never been that serious of a mistake to begin with, why freaking out over this??

living with the constant fear of offending someone with your choice of words (even though you ferociously search engine everything before you press "Post")

using commas and other (oh no what are these things called in English... *gives up and opens search engine*) punctuation marks! freely and randomly or just like you would use it in your mother langauge language

patting yourself in the back(?) when you use a difficult word and you pull it off aka "It works! And I got it right right away!! Or for the umpteenth time...but I did it!!!"
