Blest are those who worked their whole lives to build something beautiful.
Blest are those who lived to see it bloom, who lived to see their success.
Blest are those who then died, watching helplessly from the veil as their dream, once realized, grew old and weak.
Blest are those who screamed their anguish to a deaf forest.
Blest are those who stayed and watched as weeds and thorns plagued and broke the tired walls.
Those who watched as storm after storm wore its tear-tracks through what was once flawless stone.
Blest are those who stayed even after the roofs caved in and the doors rotted away.
Blest are those who waited in mourning for what they knew not.
Blest are those who were there when the future's young eyes beheld the ruins of a dream.
Blest are those who hadn't realized they had forgotten the spark of starry-eyed wonder.
Those who now turned new eyes, no longer worn with tears, at their grave.
Realizing that, while their dream had lost its elegant features, it had found a new beauty.
Blest are those finally able to rest, at last comfortable in the broken shell of their dreams.
Blest are those who sleep contently, knowing they brought beauty into the world.

Touch tone telephone is a 70s-80s space nerd love song and fantasy. Maybe 60s-70s. That's when both touch tones and nasa would have had the most appeal.
On second thought, 70s to 80s might be best bc of the songs references to Robert stack (who was popular in the 80s) and Leonard Nimoy (Spock) in Star Trek which gained traction in the 70s-80s so with Stack's popularity, Spocks thirst trap levels, Nasa's growing popularity due to the moon landing in 1969(right on the verge of the 70s), and touch tone telephones being used in the 60s to 80s. stretch, this nerd is living from the 70s to 80s. The only thing that doesnt align is the reference to ancient aliens which didnt first air until March 8, 2009 which is WAY past our canon timeline. Either Romeo here is a STRONG 70s to 80s kid still living in the past OR Im gonna call plot hole.
I can't believe I forgot to say that Touchtone telephone is a lovesong TO Spock.

love is ENTIRELY conditional, even when expressley UNconditional. The condition is to never change. However to change is only natural and a force that cannot be prevented. Of course the present state of being is never TRULY perceived as projections walk in the place of people. Should multiple people attempt to perceive the same being, not only would they conclude different outcomes of the character, they are already being presented with a projection and, therefore, a lie. They are all wrong and not even the character themselves can perceive the correct character because truth follows hindsight. In conclusion, unconditional love is held together by the condition that neither the objective nor the subjective "truth" be altered bc they love you "just the way you are-" presented and not what you really are.

listen. LISTEN. I know its late and im so so so very sorry but if i dont write this down now ill never remember it again. One of Spocks most well remembered lines is "Jim, when I feel friendship for you, I'm ashamed" kinda odd but hes Vulcan so, ??? BUT! BUT! Vulcans dont speak english! Literally no aliens do! A fuck-sized portion of the Earth doesnt speak english! Starfleet is able to operate using standard issue ear pieces to translate languages in real time! Now the word for friendship in Vulcan is T'hyl'a. But it also is the word for "brother" or, most fitting in the situation, "lover" (less bc its gay and more bc he was in a relationship at the time and theyd literally spent the whole movie hating and one upping each other). So! What im saying is Spocks meaning got lost in translation! Probably on purpose! Startrek has always been lowkey lgbt+ friendly! They crossed so many boundaries with the original show including! A black woman who wasnt a maid! A RUSSIAN (this was aired around the cold war) as the ships main navigator!! A Chinese man as the warp driver! The first interracial kiss on TV!! The literal bi flag hidden in the backgrounds and passed off as the "sunset on a new planet"! Lmao! Spock confessed and Kirks translator literally said "wow theyre such good friends :)" Also with the amount of aliens Kirk hooks up with, he literally HAS to be pan.
