gracie olsen is, i’ll say it, the only noora so far where it feels like her season and delving into her character to the extent where she got her own season had a Point beyond the story of her romantic relationship with daniel. like it was really worth it to me to hear her story! and that’s all because of the focus they place on the feminism, tbh. and maybe, again, this is just because i relate to her. but “teenage girl who defines herself as a Feminist and feels smarter than everyone because she knows some rhetoric and statistics” feels like A REAL PERSON in the way that all the other nooras didn’t. they were too perfect girl, living on their own, cooking the nice healthy meals, being really fashionable. and then their season was deconstructing that. but like, i didn’t feel like i KNEW a noora. but i know a grace. i WAS a grace! so i feel really deeply connected to this story despite the fact that i was a wholeass teenage lesbian and gracie has an overarching straight love story. but i don’t hate daniel either, so that’s fine. daniel too feels like a real teenage boy, and clay feels like a real violent threat, as opposed to niko and william’s overdramatic backstory.

skam austin s3 will be so amazing,,,,,shay with her impeccable comedic timing and Sad Yearning eyes as our main falling in deep passionate requited gay love? marlon finally shaking off his misogyny long enough to love and support his lesbian bff in peak humorous heartfelt straight ally fashion? tyler inventing gay/lesbian solidarity and doing everything possible to help shay get the girl while always giving her a shoulder to cry on so she never feels truly alone? the girl squad shining as the charming adorable funny gals they are? zoya and shay bickering and bonding and having Profound conversations and a grudging mutual respect? grace being a gentle albeit somewhat patronizing soul and letting shay pet her dog in difficult moments? megan being obviously happier and more confident than she was in the past and shay being happy for her while also recognizing that her feelings for megan are no longer romantic? girl even being cool and aloof and then as she opens up revealing her tru dorky self and learning that she’s worthy of love and respect and her and shay trusting each other and having fun together and after long periods of hardship and misery for both of them finding love and companionship and getting to be happy silly teenagers together surrounded by the love of their friends? shay finding a mentor/older sister in lesbian eskild who helps her become more confident in herself and find joy in her sexuality? god………..
