Who am I?

Hello. My name is Monika I am 24 year old artist from Slovakia. I live in Prague, Czech Republic.  

You might know me because of my fan artworks of Arrow, The Flash, Glee, OITNB and many others:

I’m a starting freelance artist at this moment. I struggle with finding a job outside art to support myself and my passion, because I am physically disabled and on top of that I had to take a break in my studies (Japanese language and culture)  due to high levels of anxiety and depressions it caused me. I solely support myself with art and help of my (poor) family nowadays.  Unfortunately, I’ve never received any education in art and path of a self-taught artist is slow and long.

What do I need?

At this moment I’m creating all my art with Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch (Small) which is not only not very well suited for any Professional artwork, but also I had it for few years, replaced some part and I get more and more issues with it every day so I fear it might stop working soon.

I would like to get HUION GT-220 HD graphic tablet monitor. It’s not the most expensive or best one on the market, but I believe it will suit me well.

Even when I won’t reach my goal,  I’m still going to use the money raised here to buy myself any kind of graphic tablet so I can continue in my work.

If I reach the goal, not only will I get closer to becoming a better artist and professional, it will also give me a new powerful tool to provide living for myself and work more effectively on many of my art projects.

I miss Glee.

Don’t get me wrong, there are other shows I love to watch, but they don’t excite me the way Glee did. I’m not searching the Internet for videos and articles. I’m not stalking the Twitter of their cast and crew for new pics. I don’t have their soundtrack on repeat all week. I’m not counting down the hours until I can watch the new episode. And when they go on hiatus I won’t really miss them-I’ll just start watching something else.

But Glee? I miss Glee.
