Guess who just passed his AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Test..?? This little homie!

His look kinda says it all. Shooketh.

This was Link’s 3rd CGC attempt, so 3rd time’s the charm! If you’ve ever met Link in person, you know he’s sweet, cuddly, over-the-top, and very extra when it comes to barking and going for pets. So his, ahem, over-exuberance prevented him from passing CGC before. He’s just very, very, very chatty and energetic.

We’ve worked a lot on calm behaviors and it’s finally paid off. Best little rescue boi. 💛

Thank you to the Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club for a well-organized event this past weekend!

Mr Link earned his NEW Rally Excellent title (pending AKC confirmation) with a 4th place finish, as well as his first Q in Master level.

Miss Dolly earned her 2nd Q with a 3rd place finish in Rally Excellent so she needs 1 more qualifying score to finish her Rally Excellent title!

We have been busy and haven’t been posting but here is a little recap of what we’ve been up to…! 😊

Dolly earned her NACSW Nose Work L1C and L1I titles on Aug 17, 2024.

This past weekend, Link ran in AKC agility (Friday thru Sunday) and earned 5 Qs (out of 7 runs). He earned two new titles, his NJP (Novice Jumpers Preferred) and OFP (Open FAST Preferred).

Such good pups…! Treatos for all…!

Link and his agility BFF, Mochi, each ran 3 AKC agility courses yesterday, earning 4 Qs for the 6 attempts, and 3 new titles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Link earned his Novice Standard Preferred (NAP) title with a 1st Place ribbon, and a 2nd Q with a 2nd place finish toward his Novice Agility Jumper (NJP) title. He didn’t have a qualifying run in Open FAST so we will try again!

Mochi earned Qs in both Open FAST and Novice Agility Jumper so she earned new OPF and NJP titles! She also finished 1st in both those runs..!! She did not have a quality run in Novice Standard Preferred.

Thank you to Mochi’s mom for handling both dogs on the courses! Yay…!

Happy Belated Birthday to Dolly, who turned 5 years old last week! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

We were not able to celebrate or take her out during the week as the lady has been buried with work but we got to go out this past weekend. We spent some quality time together on a sniffari, ran around in agility class, sniffed all over in nose work class, and then we watched the world go by on the grass at the park. And yes, we got treats too…! 🧁

Love and absolutely adore this silly, funny, clever, and sweet little darling. Hope to have many, many more happy and healthy trips around the sun together. 💛

We are very proud of Mr Link earning his NACSW NW2 title yesterday. He worked so hard to do 5 searches: 1) a vehicle, 2) 2 interiors, 3) containers, and 4) an exterior.

He finished 7th overall in time and could have been higher if we had completed our vehicle search in less time, rather than in the heart pounding 2:58:07 for the 3min search. 🙈

He finished 1st in container and 3rd for interiors, earning ribbons for those placements.

Link is a hard working, good boy! Extra treats!! 💛💛💛

A little late in posting but we had an AKC Rally trial last weekend!

Both Dolly and Link earned qualifying scores—yay! Dolly earned her first Q toward her Rally Excellent title and Link earned his second. 💛💛

We have been celebrating Mr Link’s birthday since the 13th—his actual birthday. He’s had sniffaris, stinky sardines (yum..??), and lots of belly rubs.

It’s been a wonderful start to 2024! Mr Link and fluffy pal, Mochi, each earned their very first AKC Agility titles, Novice Fast Preferred (NFP), over 2 weeks, with 3 Qs over 4 days of trials!

Much thanks to @fluffy.corgi.mochi’s human for the on-course handling!!

Dolly ran the courses as well as For Exhibition Only (FEO) and was on the sidelines cheering everyone on!
