Time just kept on ticking away, drawing her farther away from the moments she’d spent with her brothers and closer to her first Christmas without them. Daisy prided herself on at least attempting to hide the severity of her brothers loss. She’d mostly only taken to smoking gillyweed, but as Christmas neared she’d found herself being drawn towards something a bit stronger. Lost in her thoughts she hadn’t even heard someone approach.

"Honestly Clara, I don’t know if I can listen to another word about Edgar right now.” Normally Daisy enjoyed investing her happiness into her friends happiness versus her own. But with Christmas drawing all the nearer she’d found herself at the bottom of a bottle of firewhiskey on too many nights to count. Last night was no different and her splitting headache could not be solved by Clara’s unrequited love.

“Hey, Gilderoy!” She called out, bouncing over to him with piqued interest. “How’d it go with Caradoc. Is he doing alright?”

Daisy glanced behind her as she gingerly approached Doc in hopes that she wouldn’t see something that she could never unsee. Based on her chat with Gilderoy she probably shouldn’t be too worried. She was likely just working herself up into a tizzy over nothing. One foot in front of the other, “Hey Doc,” She said with a soft smile, “Sorry it took me so long to visit you. But I brought you some cookies. So, hopefully that makes up for it?”

“Sorry, is there a reason you always seem to show up randomly near me? Need something? Following me? See something you like?” She cocked her brows. “What is it hmm?”
