hello my name is redacted -- I am a transgender homeless asylum seeker and I am crowdfunding to both leave homelessness and to also support the cost of my living.

£4 will buy me a pack of cigarettes, £9 will be more than the government support I am entitled to but am not getting, £10 will cover my monthly phone bill, £12 will pay for my monthly healthcare costs, £20 will ensure i can get to my legal appointments, and so on and so forth. i know i ask a lot, but it very hard when you have zero income and no way to get income.

hello !!!!! i am a homeless asylum seeker in the UK. for health related reasons and also because of history with attempts of trafficking, i do not feel safe living on my own. or with strangers.

so my solution to this is currently: acquire a caravan and live in my friends backyard. said friend knows about this. and is chill with it.

My friend Nader is a 17 years old Palestinian boy who has been campaigning tirelessly for months now in order to evacuate his whole family from Gaza.

When I first started chatting with him, his campaign, which has a total goal of €50,000, was at a bit above €5,000 at the time, about a month ago.

Thanks primarily to this sweet boy's daily efforts and the help he's received from some Tumblr users, we've managed to get his fundraiser to over 50% of its total goal!!!!

With that in mind, if everyone who's donated a relatively small amount would donate a similar amount again as I just did, we could soooo easily take him very near his goal!!

His campaign is verified. It's the 4th campaign in this spreadsheet.

If we reach this €50,000 goal, we'd be saving not just Nad, but several young children, his father Ahmed who's a cancer patient, and many others. Reminder too that an uncle of his was martyred very recently. Anything can happen at any moment, and he gets very disheartened whenever donations decrease. We need to get them all out of Gaza as soon as possible.

Let's give Nad a chance to follow his dreams of going to university. Let's give his very small siblings a chance to know of a life free of bombings and shootings. Let's give his father the opportunity to deal with his cancer with dignity and an actual fighting chance.

something sad but also kind of sweet ive noticed about human trait mirroring (i.e. seeing someone regularly preform a physical or verbal action and adapting it as your own) is that even years after a person has stopped being in my life theyve still left pieces of themself within me. i still smile and wave like my childhood best friend did. i still pull my shirts up to cover my face when im embarrassed because my favorite college roommate did that. ive learned how to be a human being through all those around me, and those after me will likely learn the same way too.
