John gets sick and Dutch, Hosea, and Arthur decide to stay in a room to avoid John camping out in the cold. During that time, Arthur reads to him to pass the time.

My headcanon is that Arthur originally was going to con Mary of her money, her being from rich family and all. However he fell hard for her so he decided not to go through with it. John and Dutch never liked her because they felt she was going to break their "family" apart.

RDR- The Golden Hour

My style shifts so much sometimes and so I made a style guide for myself of young Arthur and John. Also going to go back to my old brush. I call this point in time Golden Hour. I will eventually add more characters as I go.

I always like to keep Arthur with bluish tone closer to Hosea and John in red tones closer to Dutch. I see this as John being the new golden boy of the Van Der Linde gang.

What if Dutch obtained that fancy hat from Algernon. I'm pretty sure Dutch would have some sense not to wear it but I like to imagine he is a bit of a peacock.
