Dadzawa Week 2020! Final day - free! I had a comic all lined up to post, but I realized that I hated the line work, hated the coloring, hated everything…so I scrapped it. Lol. I’ve been wanting to post just whatever on this blog, to show a sort of evolution and experimentation of my art, but I don’t want to post anything I absolutely hate.

I’m really grateful for this week. It’s pushed me back towards a passion for art again. I’ve had a rocky relationship in the past few years with art, but now I think I’m sort of getting back into it.

I also fixed a brush pack I had, and so this looks dramatically different from the past 6 drawings. But it’s more towards what I want.

Dadzawa Week 2020, Day 6! Featuring the one and only Shinsou! Honestly, I just love the pretty much widely accepted hc that Aizawa adopts Shinsou, it warms my heart like no other.

The particular thing Shinsou is practicing here is a martial arts thing (at least it was for me when I learned taekwondo). You get into a comfortable stance, and imagine yourself holding a tea cup in the palm of one hand, and sort of rotate your hand/arm in a figure 8 movement above your head and around your waist, trying not to spill the tea. It’s a pretty good exercise, and definitely recommend if you are training! Search a video for it though, or talk to an instructor to learn, my description is not comprehensive 😂

Dadzawa Week 2020 Day 5! Featuring underrated characters. I really like Kouda, probably because I’m jealous of his quirk. I would have loved to have his, especially as a kid. I think he and Aizawa would get along well, esp since they’re both fond of animals. Since he’s basically mute in the show, I also think he and Yamada would get along too! I hc Yamada as deaf, so they’d both get along using JSL. I think that’d just be so nice :’)

*Make a Man Out of You plays in the distance* Dadzawa Week 2020 Day 4! The fanon squad, Yaoyorosquad. I think Ojirou and Aizawa would have pretty interesting training sessions, considering Ojirou’s quirk is pretty simple, and he is also into martial arts/hand to hand combat. Aizawa’s quirk isn’t really bodily enhancing, so he could teach Ojirou a lot of skills.
