You should learn Javascript
There are many programming languages that you could learn as an aspiring web developer, but none of them, in my opinion, are as dynamic, powerful and multi-purposeful as Javascript.
For example, Javascript is the one programming language that can be used on both the front-end and back-end (with Node.Js) for web development projects. So, unlike python which is also a powerful programming language, but is a back-end language, so if you learned Python and still wanted to learn front-end development, you would also have to learn Javascript, which now means you would have to divide your learning and time between two powerful languages, which is an extremely hard thing to do.
The cool thing about Javascript is that it can make a boring website coded only markup languages like HTML and CSS become very interactive. You can also visualize and compute data, build video games and web apps.
- Easy to start
The learning curve in Javascript is pretty gentle. Javascript is a very beginner-friendly programming language, and everybody can start learning without any previous experience. It doesn’t take a long time to learn these programming language basics; you can learn the fundamental things in a few months and start creating simple programs or applications.
- Career Opportunities
With more and more businesses moving online, the demand for JavaScript developers has been rocketing. JavaScript is also the most demanded programming skill at Angel List. If you want to use JavaScript for backend development, the average salary in the US for Node.js developers is about $98,962.
- Big Community
As a very popular programming language, Javascript has a very big community of programmers. On the Stack Overflow, the Javascript developers community is one of the biggest.

Hello guys, In this post today, I would like to share 12 key elements of modern web design. hopefully, it can help you guys in web design.
It can be said that we always see new trends emerge in web design styles and elements each year. There are elements that when incorporated cleverly can help tell the story of your company and explain what it’s all about.  As you guys know that there are literally hundreds of elements you can utilize which makes this quite challenging. However, sites designed in a modern way do not benefit from too much fancy stuff. Having a simple, clean, minimal, and professional-looking modern design can make your website more effective and provide a better UX.
1- Easy Navigation One of the most significant elements of web design is easy navigation. It is the process in which a user moves around and explores your website. It is like a map of all the content and areas within your website. Having an impressive and creative site is of no use if your visitors will have a hard time viewing and navigating it to find the information they are looking for.
2- Overall Layout and Visual Appearance The overall layout and visual appearance of your site help in improving the user experience. Branding is crucial. It should evoke both your site’s looks and what your company is all about. You also need to think of ways on how to leverage your visual branding on several platforms if you want to stand out from the rest of your competition. Visual appearance is an extremely crucial element of any modern web design, especially if you want to create a long-lasting brand association and relationship with your customers. Every visual aspect of your design should be well-balanced from fonts and colors to shapes and images.
3- Color Scheme You may think that the color scheme of a website is a basic thing, but it is an important element of modern web design. Building a successful website also relies on choosing the right combination of colors through color theory. Creating a site starts with the understanding of color scheme theory. Ideas are developed through colors. It also expresses messages, creates certain emotions, and sparks interests.
4- Content One of the main reasons people create a website is for content to be shared. Content is an essential part of any web design and as Bill Gates famously said: “Content is king.” This quote remains true to this day amidst the innovation and advancement in web design tools and techniques. Content is the foundation of your website. It conveys a message. It can also sell products and services and provides your users with useful information. Publishing unique content which your target audience will find relevant will also increase the number of users who will find your site in Google and other search engines.
5-Typography You can come up with the most compelling content in the world, but if it is too difficult to read, you will lose your readers. Sans-serifs are always the best choice in terms of readability online. If you want to incorporate fancy typography to make an impact, consider using it for your headings.
6- White Spaces – Design Has To Breathe In today’s online world where we are surrounded by so much information, it is imperative for your layout to be clear. Whether your website is e-commerce or a blog, it should have an easy-to-understand and readable design. White spaces or negative spaces are the part of your page that are left unmarked. It creates balance, harmony, and it is helpful in branding design.
7-Quality Images Quality images are more than just a nice element to add to your website. You may think that the only purpose they serve it to make your site look good, but they do so much more than that. When used correctly, they can help drive traffic to your site, encourage sharing on social media platforms, and eventually, they can help drive the goals of your business like conversion.
8- Responsive Design Responsive web design is a big thing right now. It can help solve many issues of your site, make it mobile-friendly, improve how it looks on all types of devices, and prolong the time your visitors spend on your website.
9- Email Integrations Email is a big part of our everyday lives. In fact, around 54% of the world’s population uses it. For this reason, integrating your web design with email is an excellent opportunity for your business to reach your target market. You will be able to increase your visibility and reach, which allows for engagement and conversion of leads consistently.
10- About Us Page/Telling Your Story The About Us Page is the next most important part of your website after its homepage. It introduces who you are and what your business, company or brand is all about. It also explains what you do and develops a rapport with your potential clients.
11- Fast Website Nowadays, buyers are impatient and they will leave your website if they have to wait more than five seconds for it to load. No matter what your business’ niche or industry is, you want to provide your customers with a positive user experience. As the behaviors of customers evolve continuously, the speed of your website is something you should never overlook.
12- Consistency One of the golden rules of modern web design is consistency. Staying consistent with the content and design of your website will provide your visitors with a quality experience. It is what separates a good user experience from a negative one.

Progress in Web Authoring
Dublin 06/12/2019 time flies so quickly, my second semester nearly ends. Two months ago I was a latecomer in class with web authoring. At that time, I was afraid that I couldn't catch up with my classmates, cause I have no experience in HTML and CSS, I'm just a beginner in Web Authoring. However, day by day, I always try my best to learn and understand HTML as well as CSS because every day in college I learn new things from the lecturer and it's quite complicated, it's not easy as the first days. I felt so confused about the grid and flexbox. However, by practicing, whenever I have the worksheets to practice from the lecturer, I always try to finish them in the class or if I can't finish them in class I will bring them home and solve them. Until now, I feel much better in HTML and CSS, but I'm still a beginner :D :D I did some worksheets about the flexbox, navigation bar, images... and I also want to show you guys about my first assignment. It was about my personal site. Hopefully, you guys will like it and if you guys want to talk about HTML as well as CSS, I'm so happy to discuss.

Art - Design
Tumblr media
Hello guys, In this post today, I'm not going to share digital media or something related to digital media. I just want to share a design of the musical poster that I did for Visual communication. This is an EDM music poster. Firstly, EDM is electronic dance music or club music. In simple terms, EDM is generally produced by DJs (Disc Jockeys) who add dozens of tones to a piece that creates unique music. People can hear them in clubs or even in a live concert or music festival. As I'm a young person and like many young people I like listening to EDM music. Whenever I listen to EDM music I always feel full of energy and freshness, I can see EDM brings many bright colors of life and youth. That's the reason why I choose this music genre for musical poster topic. Additionally, my goal is through this poster I want to convey the mood and tone of this music genre to young audiences with full of bright colors and youth.
Hopefully, You guys will like this poster :D :D :D

The business of Digital Media
Hi everyone. Today, in this post I would like to Identify and discuss three key trends that will define international media and communications markets in the next decade. This post is also the research that I did last semester. I'm going to analysis of the media and communications market trends in recent years as well as discuss recent and current strategies, successes and failures to justify my choice of predicted future key trends.
Introduction
The field of social media is always changing. This could be in terms of new platforms, different habits of consumption or even the varied forms of communication there are. In recent years, people have found ways to make social media a platform for digital marketing as well as a source of income for most people. Some of the social media platforms that have taken to this trend include YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. They are some of the most popular sites for people to share and post specific information about their lives that they would like others to experience with them. They can view these updates by becoming their followers. This type of contact has made it possible for these online celebrities to make money by promoting certain products to their followers.
Aim
Social media platforms not only give customers a way to give feedback to their favorite online stores but it also allows the marketers to come up with new and inventive ways to capture the attention of their audience.  This post will focus on each of these social media platforms in terms of their background, past current and future strategies as well as any new emerging trend.
Body
Facebook is an American based company that offers services for online networking. It could either be personal networking to make friends or business networking to get contacts for one business. This application was founded by Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, and Eduardo Saverin. They were all students at Harvard University.  By the year 2012, it had already become the most extensive social network in the entire world.  One of the things that attract people to Facebook is the fact that from the beginning, Mark Zuckerberg insisted that people be open about who they are and the users are forbidden from creating false identities (Lo & Fang, 2018).  The management of this company also argued that for this company to flourish, they needed to have full transparency. This would also help users make meaningful personal relationships.
Facebook, however, had not always served these purposes. Initially, after the invention at Harvard, it had been used by the student body to pass judgment on the attractiveness of a colleague. Since this was a violation of some school policies, it had to be shut down which happened two days after launching it. Mark Zuckerberg later re-launched it later as Facebook the social network in February of 2004. The students at Harvard were able to post pictures as well as their school schedules and the clubs that they had joined. Soon enough students from other universities joined, and by June that year, the network had more than 250,000 more subscribers; all students from thirty-four different schools.
Over the years, Facebook has gone through many transformations, and fourteen years later they are still making more changes. Initially, it was referred to as face mash. This was by October 2003. One of the strategies that they seem to have implemented a lot in their journey is constant rebranding. This includes situations where they even sold their domain to a new company to ensure that they offer the best to the users. At this point in history, Facebook is no longer just a school project but rather a global thing which is why they need to keep coming up with new ideas every day. An example of this idea was the like button (Morrison, 2018). When their like button was introduced, it became the greatest innovation of the time. The like button has been adopted by so many other companies including those hosting various websites and blogs. Another strategy that they seem to be employing is the concept of keeping their customers happy. It allowed them to come up with the ‘Facebook ads’ which would later become one of the essential tools in all marketing classes in most schools. Such innovations have allowed them to stay relevant even with the onset of many other social media platforms offering similar services to those at Facebook.
There is the talk of transforming Facebook from just a very successful technology startup to a public company that will be set for success to outlive all the leaders in place right now.  Proof of this is seen in an address to Mark Zuckerberg from his new board of directors. The address is to remind him that by making his company public, he will no longer be the sole owner but will be reduced to the CEO with a very tight leash on the succession. It is important to note that many companies have often failed at this stage in the transition and not that many can fully recover to where they once were (Susarla, Oh, & Tan, 2012).  As with every other company, Facebook has had to deal with both victories and losses. Facebook has been late when coming into the social networking market, which is why it is not much of a surprise that they have had to deal with some issues like the leakage of certain personal information that belongs to the users. This got so bad that the CEO had to offer an official public apology that did not do much to quell the outrage among Facebook users.  Their late entry could also be the reason why they can keep up so well.
Even after coming into the game so late, Facebook has still managed to catch up and even overtake most of the competition. This has raised some questions among the social networking community. One of the reasons this was possible is that they were able to maintain the cycle of ownership between those who were there from the beginning. They are the only ones who can do what is best for the company (Muñoz & Towner, 2017). The fact that they have been able to stay afloat after so many years and are starting to take over even the new platforms proves that in the next decade it will still be among the key trends of the globe.
YouTube
YouTube is also an American website that has its headquarters based in San Bruno, California. This is the brainchild of three people who were former employees at Pay Pal. These are Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. They came up with the service in 2005 February. In 2006 the site was bought by Google for 1.65 billion US dollars. This site allows its users to view, upload, rate, report, add to favorites, subscribe to the other users as well as comment on any content that they put up (Smith, Fischer, & Yongjian, 2012). YouTube has been a fast-growing site with people now not only using it to view videos but also advertise products as well as provide tutorials on how to use them.
One of the strategies that YouTube has been employing more often is the YouTube partnership program that allows them to partner with other media corporations to provide content for its viewers.  Some other partnerships are with the video bloggers who get a platform to express themselves. These bloggers have now also started forming their partnerships with brands like clothing or makeup lines to be able to reach their audience (Bahtar & Muda, 2016). Most of these makeup lines will even have the bloggers do videos to teach the clientele how to use their product. This has resulted in excellent customer interface which in turn helps boost sales. The bloggers also get a percentage of the money made by these companies just for showing their product. This shows that not only is it a place to view great content it is also a place where most people especially millennials can make some extra money. YouTube also provides the users with excellent quality video output which is why they have so many users.
YouTube is also able to collect revenue from corporations like Google AdSense who targets specific ads depending on the content and traffic to one site.  The majority of these adverts are free for anyone to view, but there are those that require a premium subscription in order to view. This is how revenue is generated. Over the years, it has grown to be a trendsetter in the social media digital marketing sector. By 2017 over one billion hours in content was being viewed in just a day. By 2018 it had already been given the position of the second most popular site in the entire world. Youtube has been able to use video marketing to its advantage, and all they have to do is provide the platform (Daou, Sarkis, & Nader, 2018).
One of the problems that they have had to deal with is the posting of inappropriate content with the videos. This is most common for video bloggers. On more than one occasion they have had to delete certain accounts due to the message they send. Most of these are either promoting pornography or drug use. This is mainly worrisome because of the underage children whom thanks to technology have access to YouTube.  Video market has now become very important in the marketing business, and this is why YouTube will keep being a trendsetter in social media digital marketing (Susarla, Oh, & Tan, 2012).
Instagram
Instagram is a photo-sharing application. It was started by both Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger in San Francisco. After its launch, it was re-acquired in 2012 by Facebook. This application allows the users to be able to edit and upload, not only photos but videos as well. Users are also able to put captions under their posts which sometimes includes the use of hashtags.  These are also used as indexes to be able to allow other users to see their posts. Hashtags and geotags are also ways to make sure that people who are not followers of a certain page or account can see the post. As with all the other social networking programs, users can like and comment on each other’s posts. Recent developments have also made it possible for one to bookmark the work of another person. They can also be able to send private direct messages to each other. The fact that it is linked to Facebook makes it possible to share photos on both platforms.
By 2012 the company had already skyrocketed with more than 40million users who were active only two years after its launch.  This was when they captured the attention of those at Facebook who decided to buy out the owners (Daou, Sarkis, & Nader, 2018). The application was purchased for one billion dollars during summer in 2012. At this point, people could only post photos of themselves, but by 2013 they had already incorporated the feature that allowed people to share short videos as well.  Over the years they have faced many problems especially when it comes to their policies. One of the policies implemented implied that the photos uploaded by the users could be distributed to unauthorized people. This caused an uproar that resulted in the rewording of the entire policy. Another policy seemed to be censoring some of the content posted on accounts of the content being inappropriate. However further research shows that the majority of the photos are of female users which results in a massive backlash due to the gender sensitivity issues involved. It seemed as though they were discriminating of the women.
Despite all these problems Instagram has been able to rise above some of their competition like Twitter. In only a year they have been able to get seven hundred million users who are more than twice the users on Twitter. One of the strategies that they have been employing is ensuring that they provide their users with a variety of options to choose from.  People are now able to edit their photos to look at how they wish them by adding filters or editing some features like lux which is a feature that helps one lighten or darken the photo. They have also been able to get inspiration from other applications.
An excellent example of this is the idea of uploading stories which was initially on snap chat. Users can now upload updates that disappear after twenty-four hours are over. In the spirit of partnerships, Instagram has also been able to add in more applications to make the experience great. One of these is the boomerang application that can enable one to create their short videos with time-lapse in them (Susarla, Oh, & Tan, 2012). They also had many issues when it came to organizing their content. This is why they came up with the idea to create tags to make it possible for businesses with accounts to sort out the content they have.
Despite having many issues come up, Instagram has still managed to be not just a key trend,  but also a trendsetter in social media. The one thing that makes the difference between failure and success is the momentum that a company has.  The fact that the Instagram app has been so relentless is what has made sure that they have the number of their users on a constant rise. A brief look into their past, one can tell that the app had a lot of failed attempts before they finally broke through (Bahtar & Muda, 2016). This tenacity is what will ensure their place on the social media digital marketing docket for more years to come.
Conclusion
The various changes that have taken place in the social media digital marketing sector are all geared towards making life more comfortable for users. Most of the applications have been able to achieve this by creating applications with a better user interface that is evolving daily. In order to keep this evolution going, they have to keep track of the needs of their various users and what is unique to each user.  The world today is highly influenced by visuals. This means that they are more likely to click open adverts that have visually appealing thumbnails. This is why most people involved in online marketing will usually have a certain look which is what will attract the clients to the merchandise advertised. The above applications have each made a name for themselves in digital marketing. Some have also been forming partnerships with each other to maximize the traffic in their different sites. Each of them has had major fails and setbacks.  However, instead of succumbing to the setbacks, they rose above it and used it as a stepping stone to great success. This is one characteristic of most successful enterprises today.
Hopefully, this post will provide for you guys an overview of communications market trends. If you guys are interested in this topic as well as the social media market, I really would like to discuss

Disruptive Innovation & Food Delivery Applications
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello guys, Today I would like to share an example of disruptive innovation and I know this topic is also our topic for the research methods module. It could be said that disruptive innovation is a broad topic. Therefore, I have made it narrower and more specific by selecting food delivery applications. In the food delivery market, we can see some big old names like UberEATS, Deliveroo, Just Eat..etc. In order to understand more about the disruptive innovation of food delivery I will give you guys an overview about from its history to the future trend.
In fact, “World Wide Waiter” was the first food ordering service founded in 1995. The site initially served only northern California but later expanded to nearly all cities in the United States. Online ordering accounted for approximately 3 percent of the 61 billion American restaurant transactions as of September 2016 (Sjahroeddin, 2018).  According to research conducted by the eMarketer, approximately 44 million U.S. smartphone users will use food delivery applications from third parties by the year 2020 (Haridasan, and Fernando, 2018). In fact, with the high number of satisfied customers, it is evident that the food delivery application is a disruptive innovation.
History of Food Delivery
Nowadays, it's as easy as launching an app on your phone to order food nowadays. However, this was not easy in the past when one was required to travel all the way to the food joints in order to order some takeaway foodstuffs. Butchers in Paris took foods straight to the rulers’ residences in the 1300s, and dabbawallas in India provided served foodstuffs to individuals in Mumbai city for a long period. Italy is thought to be the first place where pizza delivery took place in 1886, delivered to king and queen in Naples (Reynaldi, and Pangemanan, 2019).
Food Delivery in The United States Food delivery is an obvious trend in the United States these days. North America, there are over 10 online food delivery companies with Grubhub the largest player, accounting for over a one-third share of the market (Singh,2019). Actually, approximately 0.86% of the nation’s populace orders food monthly, and 0.06% of the nation’s total population dines on delivered food daily (Chandrasekhar, Gupta, and Nanda, 2019).
Food Delivery Today Smartphone invention has made distribution much simpler. Apps like UberEats and GrubHub allow users to tailor orders from hundreds of restaurants in their region to hyper-specific tastes. It also allows users to use an in-app map to monitor their shipments so they understand correctly when to receive the order food. Many Pizza places also managed to keep up with online trends (Chetan, Sharma, and Dorji, 2019). Currently, food delivery is so widespread that you can almost anywhere in America, enjoy the delicious comfort of warm, freshly cooked food. The Domino Tracker for instance, has a live feature that enables the customer to monitor the process of preparation to the delivery (Jauhari, 2017).
Benefits of Food Delivery Applications One benefit that food delivery applications bring is that customer have better choices (Suhartanto, Dean, Leo, and Triyuni, 2019). The apps make it possible to choose a wide variety of foods available in restaurants. one could utilize the application, try out at least 10 to 12 restaurants, and then make a decision which is the best alternative (Yeo, Goh, and Rezaei, 2017). Customers don’t need to visit the actual restaurant as ordering food is only a click away. In fact, the customers have a wide scope menu to pick, from Italian Cuisines, Chinese foods, and African dishes. Therefore, this is definitely a great advantage for customers in more than one way.
Another benefit is efficient customer and order management. The food delivery applications help to improve the customer-restaurant interaction by offering end-to-end customer relationship management (CRM) service (Holmberg, et al., 2016).
Drawbacks of Food Delivery Applications With the immense benefits also come some drawbacks. Price discrepancies and unhappy customers are one issue associated with food delivery applications (Wang, and Tsai, 2017). Some customers have been complaining about the misleading prices on some of the applications. Some food delivery companies are slow in updating prices on their application menus. Customers are left confused and perplexed (Kanyan, Ngana, and Voon, 2016). These things could lead to customers to become unhappy and decide to quit the services.
It could be said that profits have skyrocketed for those already using the technology, increased customer interactions have also been reported and also give the company a good corporate image. Restaurants that have stuck with the traditional methods of ordering food should adopt the technology to realize the benefits that come with the technology. Moreover, the trend of using technology seems not to stop. In a business world marked with stiff competitions especially in the food sector, Food delivery applications is the way to go in order to stay ahead of the competition.

Topic of the Week: 5G Network
Tumblr media
Hello, today I would like to share with you guys about 5G Network and its benefits.
It could be said that in Network Technology one of the most talked terms is 5G networks, Although it is well informed that 5G is going to be launch by 2020 but there are still a lot of things are being discussed about its upcoming features additional benefits in comparison to 4G. In order to understand more about 5G you guys can take a look at my brief below.
About 5G
5G networks are the next generation of mobile internet connectivity, it provides faster speeds and more reliable connections on smartphones and other devices. 5G should offer with average download speeds of around 1GBps expected to soon be the norm. 5G will working alongside existing 3G and 4G technology to provide speedier connections that stay online no matter where you are.
5G research and development also aim at the improved support of machine to machine communication, also known as the internet of things, aiming at lowe cost and lower battery consumption.
Benefits of 5G
It is undeniable that there are so many huge benefits that 5G brings for human, it could be :
- Much higher data rates (Up to 10Gbps connections), enabling consumers to download content more quickly.
- Much lower latency (1 ms), allowing users to experience less delay/lag when requesting data from the network
- More bandwidth.
It could be said that 5G wireless technology is more intelligent technology, which will interconnect the entire world without limits. It is expected that the implementation of the 5G network would take four more years from now to make it usable for the people. We need more time to develop its functionality, we need more research on its user and security. So, we can expect its development in 2020. As I know, The United State and South Korea are leading in the implementation of 5G. Hope that we can use 5G soon.

 Topic of the Week
Artificial Intelligence: Good and Bad
There are so many people believe that advances in artificial intelligence (AI) will bring a range of benefits in the foreseeable future. However, there are also people fear that we are not equipped with the skills and experience needed to deal with computers or other technological devices that are becoming smarter than us. Personally, I can understand the two opposing points of view; I am both fascinated by developments in artificial intelligence and apprehensive about its possible negative effects. In this post, I want to talk about the benefits and risks of AI for humans. The main reason why some people think that AI might become a threat to human survival is that intelligent machines may become so smart that they could take control of humans one day in the future. Robots and machines might be able to make their own decisions without being given the permission of humans. In addition, in the short term, it is likely that we will see a rise in unemployment as workers in various industries are replaced by machines or software programs. However, It's undeniable that the increasing intelligence of technology should bring some obvious benefits. Machines are clearly able to do many jobs better than humans can, especially in areas that require high levels of accuracy or calculations using large amounts of data. For example, robots are being developed that can carry out surgical procedures with greater precision than a human doctor. Another example is that advances in automobile technology would help curb traffic congestion and improve road safety. Driverless cars and surveillance cameras would greatly contribute to minimizing traffic accidents and traffic offenses. It could be said that artificial intelligence brings both benefits and risks for human but I believe that its benefits outweigh its risks. Artificial intelligence is good or bad depends on who created.  If you guys are interested in this topic, I’m so happy to talk and discuss with you guys.

Social Network & Human Communication
Hey guys, Today I bring a topic that’s related to digital media, this topic is also the topic for the research methods module which I’m carrying on research.
It could be said that the field of digital media is always changing year by year. This could be in terms of new platforms, different habits of consumption or even the varied forms of communication there are. In recent years, people have found ways to make digital media become platforms for digital marketing as well as a place where people can communicate with each other. Some of the social media platforms that outstanding are YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. They are some of the most popular sites for people to share and post specific information about their lives that they would like others to experience with them. People can view these updates by becoming their followers. Besides, these social networks also make communication of people become easier, everyone can contact, chat, text, interact with each other or even make a phone call directly on those social media platforms. However, it is undeniable that It also brings negative effects on society and human communication. People often spend too much time on social networks which makes them forget that there is a real-world outside. Some people can feel shy when they meet their friends in the real-world or some people got neurological diseases because they have been living in a virtual world for a long time. Therefore, Social media platforms have affected both negative and positive on human communication. This post will provide for you guys some aspects of the social network.
Negative sides:
+ One of the big problems of people who are using social media platforms is the lack of face-to-face communication, these platforms reduce the amount of face to face socializing and replace it with online interaction. Even today, there are many people who prefer to solve work or personal problems via social messaging systems.
+ The use of the social network for children has obviously increased over the past few years. This has led to them having fewer relationships in life and it could make children lacking the ability to function healthily among their peers. When they can no longer function within these groups, they are not going to develop properly
+  Cyberbullying is a growing concern for our life. Although it is just on the virtual world, it directly affects our real life.  Cyberbullying occurs when individuals use technology to write aggressive, embarrassing, or hateful messages  in order to intimidate, harass, shame, or control another
Positive sides:
+ Social media makes it easier to make friends. A few decades ago it was pretty tough to connect with people but the rise of social media helped change this, connecting people in a new way, faster and easier.
+ Social media platforms make the world smaller. Family members living abroad can be kept abreast of the latest happenings in your world as quickly as those living next door. Friends you haven’t seen since school, and who have since moved away, are able to keep in touch. Social networking sites mean someone’s physical location has become a lot less important.
+ Educational Benefits: Nowadays, we can easily get knowledge from many renowned professionals and experts from various social media platforms. You can follow and subscribe to each of the experts and view their videos in order to enhance your knowledge.
+ Confidence & Independence: Engaging in social networking sites can be a new adventure for young people. It is like exploring a new place where different skills are needed. Young people learn to mold their character to be more confident and independent in order to be heard or have a positive online presence. This eventually transfers to their daily lives.
What I have mentioned above could be aspects of social media platforms. It has its advantages and its disadvantages but I believe that its benefits outweigh its drawbacks. If you guys are interested in this topic, I'm so happy to talk and discuss with you guys

Hello everyone :D
I just want to share this website https://www.bridgingthegaps.ie/ . It made by Mr.Waseem Akhtar. This website is very useful for those people who are curious about new things, about research , explore, health, space... Through the videos from this website you are not only find answer for questions that you are wondering but also you will have a new point of view about future research directions. As a person who care about health, especially human brain  I chose the conversation with Dr Gary Small to listen. Dr Gary Small is a professor of Psychiatry at university of california and is a director of UCLA center on aging. Dr Gary Small  is a author of the number of best seller on memory and aging. After listening this conversation, I have realized many things about human brain as well as how to have a healthy brain. There are several interesting things whichI have listed below could will help you understand more about our memory.
In order to start conversation about usual and unusual memory sleeps. Mr. Waseem Akhtar have asked Dr Gary Small: + How much do we know about the working of human memory? What's exactly our memory? How do we restore and retrieve information in our brain? ->  Memory helps us define ourself as human. Without memory , we have no tasks, we can not realize past and  present . Memory defines who we are. Essentially , it's about coding and storing information and retrieving it when we want it. + When we struggle to remember somthing what's exactly happen in our brain? How do we remember them? ->  It's a common phenomenon, it happens when we think we know the answer but we can not get it , answer often come later. One thing we do know that as we age, long term memory stronger than short term memory. You can remember your first kiss but you can not remember what you had in breakfast or the name of actor of movie that you saw last week. So, the short term memory is less stable. +He also provide two simple system to access memory . there are subjective memory and objective memory. He mentioned that succesful healthy ageing is living longer and living better. lifestyle choice is important. It affects directly our brain : All these choices we have everyday have impact how we feel now and how well we will aging in the future. In addtion, stress is enemy of memory, when we worry something our memory actualy perform worse memory task. + Brain healthy diet: There are several things inside it. We need to eat fresh food , fresh vegetable, avoid fast food like: chip, pizza.. Finnal thing is carlorise control because when you are overweight you put yourself in risk of high blood presser, hight cholesterol.
I have to say that I have opened my mind after I listen this conversation. I know new things about my  brain as well as my memory like what's exactly our brain is,  we have short term memory and long term memory , I know about brain healthy diet and. Besides, it also drives my curiosity, there are few question appear in my mind like : what happen with our brain if we don't sleep? I want to know more about left brain and right brain. How much information our brain can store?

Latecomer & Web Authoring
For some personal reasons, I couldn’t attend the first class of Web Authoring. While my classmates were learning about the web authoring I had to stay home. However,  when the web authoring lectures were posted on the Moodle, I immediately started learn about it. Day by day, I read the lecturer's material and now  I got a basic understanding of HTML. This post will share my experience as well as my understand when I learn HTML by myself. Firstly, HTML is HyperText Markup Language a language to describe the contents of web documents. Structure of a page is:
<!DOCTYPE html> <html>       <head>            <title> </title>       </head> <body> </body> </html>
+ <!DOCTYPE html> is to declare file in an HTML5 document + <html> </html> : everything will be inside this element +<head></head>: Inside this element, we put information of website. It can be the title, the author, keywords. +<body> </body>: This part for all content, for whatever you want to appear on web page Besides, we can also add comments or explanation by using <!-- write something here --> +<p></p> what we put inside it will display as a paragraphs. Note that there is no <p1>,<p2>.. Even when we have 10 paragraphs , we just use <p></p> for each paragraphs. + Headings. There are 6 levels of headings. They are from <h1> to <h6>. <h1> is for main headings , from <h2> till <h6> is sub headings + In order to break line or start on a new line, we use <br>. This element is a void element, it means we don't need to come with end tag “</br>” + when we want to emphasize something or make it become bold, we use <strong></strong>. However, If we want to make content Italic, we can use both <em> </em>. We can also use both to make content outstanding <strong><em> write something here </em></strong> + <blockquote></blockquote> we use this element when we want to quote something from author or famous people. <blockquote><p> write something here </p></blockquote>
Well, that's all what I have learned by myself throught Moodle. Now, I'm coder ( haha..level 1 ). I will try my best to understand more as well as practise more about HTML. If you are beginer, let's learn and practise together to go futher.
