ADAMANDI FAN WEEK?
Day 1- pre/post canon (I’m going to do post): Everyone is doing their own kind of thing ever since what happened at Ardess. Beatrix and Portia moved in together and Beatrix wakes up early to make her and Portia breakfast. Beatrix mainly wakes up 30 minutes-an hour before Portia. For Quincy, around 10 am, he goes to his aunt’s and her wife’s bookshop and cleans it, runs the cashier, and organizes the books. He still sees Vincent every once in a while in his sleep. Quincy leaves the bookshop at around 5 pm. This one day while Beatrix and Portia were walking through a park on a windy and cold fall afternoon, they found a stray cat and decided to keep it as their own and named the cat “Lila”. Quincy also enjoys walks as he often goes on them through a quick trail way by his aunts house.
Ok that’s all

Why tf did I make a whole ass analysis over “Oh, Ms. Reporter!”
Enjoy
I sent a silly video to Maya (my friend) and I wanted to be like “oh wait wrong video” and so I went onto TikTok and looked through Melliot’s TikTok account to find an Adamandi video (thank that they have a playlist of Adamandi) and so I clicked on the playlist, and noticed an “Oh, Ms. Reporter!” Video and noticed that the keys of the type writer were out instead of in front of Vincent. I went “oh! I’ve never noticed that before, maybe it was just for the practices” so I looked at the production and I realized that it was actually in the production!
When Vincent sits down, he crosses his legs but he then sees the typewriter is a little crooked, so he uncrosses his legs and moves it towards him and thinks before typing. They only type a little bit before the instruments start. He then sits back and starts singing. The time that he turns the typewriter around is after “as I’ve made a killing”.
Another thing to point out is that before he turns the typewriter around, they make an “oh!” Expression on their face.
I also noticed that when the type writer is out, Vincent expresses how he killed 23 students (I’m assuming that most of them were seniors), he expresses it happily and proudly.
The lighting, too, also effects something I’m assuming how Beatrix feels. Obviously Beatrix isn’t physically there, but the lights can be a metaphor, and the typewriter thing, too! I noticed how the lights went from white, to red, to this pinkish purplish color, and then back to red again. Red means a lot in musical theater and it mostly resembles anger. The pinkish purplish color can resemble tiredness. I’m also assuming that during “Oh, Ms. Reporter!” Vincent was talking to Bea.
I’ve also noticed that the lights change with the music. A few seconds before Vincent goes “I’m sure you saw Gertrude’s body propped on the gate” the piano turns a bit more scared and panicked than before. Before was more anger. I’m assuming this is how Beatrix feels. And at the end when he says “thanks, Ms. Reporter, it’s been a pleasure talking to you.” The piano goes slower than before. This can express how Beatrix feels tired after writing all of Vincent’s killings.
Side notes:
-Beatrix probably felt tired/scared when Vincent described how she looked faint
-Someone pointed this out before me, but I’ve now noticed it. Vincent took “Ms. Reporter” from Ambrose. As Ambrose first described Bea as “Ms. Reporter” when she was interviewing him. I’m assuming how Vincent took it from Beatrix, because Vincent wasn’t there when Ambrose called Beatrix, Ms. Reporter, is that..
A. After Ambrose got interviewed, he told Vincent that he called Beatrix (I’m sure he had a silly name for her like reporter lady or some shit like that, lol), Ms. Reporter
Or
B. Ambrose’s ghost told Vincent when Vincent was in his dorm
-All that I’m saying is from head and a few clips of “Oh, Ms. Reporter!” I’m also really tired/stressed with school and shit, and when I’m one, if not both of those things, my mind tends to do this thing of “here, make an analysis of your current hyperfixation musical” 😭

Introductory Post!
Hi!!! This is me in the picture! (And also my profile picture because I love this photo of me, lol.) I am 17 and go by They/He/She pronouns! My preferred names are Kas/Eden. I am autistic and also have ADHD. My special interests are theater (specifically musical theater), Wicked, and turtles! My hyperfixations are woods, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, The Art of Pleasing Princes, and Adamandi! A fun fact about me is that I have been a journalist before! My likes are sweets, woods, bearded dragons, singing, writing, teas, and comfort foods (yum!). My dislikes are frogs and toads!

guys. girlies. folks. people. listen ok. if you're a minor on this platform who's also very into Broadway (I know you exist. I used to be you.) I need you to know this so so so bad. and this is from someone who's been studying theatre and English for a good four years now, and i cant emphasize this enough:
everything done in a show is intentional.
literally, I promise you, everything that seems weird has a purpose. I swear to God. that rhyme, the repetition, the seemingly offhand choices. it's intentional. I saw someone say into the woods basically ended after act one. bullshit. sondheim made those choices for a reason. every melody and theme is there for a reason. all those harmonies (they're annoying I know) are there for a reason.
this isn't to say that people can't casually enjoy a show, I think that's important too, but if you're doing it at your school, if you're doing an essay on it, don't write anything off. your character has those exact lines for a reason. your script is your best friend. the stage directions are your other best friend. everything you need to create your character no matter how big or small is right there. I promise.

here's to all the little sacrifices we have to make as disabled people.
here's to skipping a friend's party because you were in too much pain, or because you had no energy.
here's to dropping out of clubs because they became too much for you.
here's to all the times we've said "no it's okay, you guys go ahead, i'll hang back here."
here's to all the things we've held ourselves back from just in case they hurt us.
here's to moving seats in class away from your friends because your back was getting a draft and the cold hurts you.
here's to us. here's to letting ourselves heal. here's to being cautious, being safe.
here's to the things we can do. the things we're allowed to do. here's to enjoying those things, enjoying our lives.
here's to making the most of being us.

Highlights of my latest WIP, summarised in the worst way possible:
- Vincent fucks around and finds out
- Adrian and Preston fuck around and get traumadumped on
- Quincy discovers a wild Portia in a tree
- Beatrix attempts at diplomacy with a giant hell creature, rolls a nat 1 and is consequently chased through a forest for twenty minutes
- Ambrose does the Macarena

Able bodied neurotypicals forcing the "summer is fun" idea on everyone makes me really uncomfortable for some reason. I can't stand warmth and will literally cry in frustration when I feel greasy and sweaty and have the need to shower every few hours. Being outside without sunglasses becomes nearly impossible bc I'll literally be blinded and overwhelmed within a few minutes. The constant "you should go outside more, the weather is so nice" comments.
No. No it's not. And I hate how they don't give a shit about the comfort of disabled people in summer.
