Aaron squinted at his crossword, slightly confused by Arizona’s observation. Stars? And then, with her next words, it suddenly became clear. He shook his head, setting the paper down and quickly making his way over to the peds attending. “Okay,” He reached over to confiscated the alcohol, “I think that’s enough of that.”
“Nuh-uh. No. You don’t get to take that from me.” Arizona scowled at him but her scowl soon turned into a smile and then a laugh at the serious expression on his face. “Come on, I’ll share with you if you give it back, maybe it’ll loosen you up a bit.”

Arizona hummed softly as Callie flipped them and she almost had to suppress a moan as her wife spoke. She needed this. When Callie leaned down to kiss her, Arizona tangled her fingers in the brunette’s hair and pushed her tongue past perfect pink lips. She pulled away after a moment to smile at her wife and she rubbed her thumb across Callie’s cheek. “I need you, Cal.”

Lexie had heard the words tequila as she passed by and poked her into the lounge. “Are you offering?” she asked. Josh was still in surgery, so that would mean heading home to an empty apartment and drinking alone. “Because yes, but we aren’t talking.”
“Yeah, looks like you could use it...” Arizona patted the seat beside her and held out the bottle with a smile. “I know we’re not talking but if you need to talk, you can talk. spit it all out.” Arizona didn’t care whether they were talking or not but she was happy to listen if Lexie needed it.

“maybe not. but you are lucky because i have twenty minutes to walk you home,” carina said decisively. it wasn’t with a good conscience that she could let her wander around in this state. she shook her head, “you are right. i don’t have to. but i am.” there was a small smile on her face, a slightly sad smile at the statement. “i am sure your wife would be happy when this beautiful woman gets you home in one piece, no?” she held out her hand to help arizona up. “come on.”
“Oh now you’re trying to hold my hand?” Arizona laughed but took Carina’s hand anyway and stood, she was a little wobbly on her feet but just about managed to stand with some level of confidence. It took a moment but she looked down and realised that she hadn’t let go of Carina’s hand so she dropped it. “Lead the way...oh wait, no, I have to lead the way.” She walked out of the door and headed down the hall to the exit.

carina shook her head and moved to get to her feet. she decided that what arizona did need was a glass of water. “i think we both know what the answer is.” she found a glass in one of the cabinets and helped herself. the tequila had warmed her belly pleasantly, but she wouldn’t be having more. she felt a responsibility to make sure arizona neither lost her job nor got lost on the way home. “so, who do i call to make sure you make it back to that wife you mentioned?” she -masked. she returned with a full glass of water, “well, you are the happiest loser i have met.” she crouched down next to arizona like she was talking to a child as she held out the water. “drink up. the drink of winners.”
“You don’t call anyone, I can get home it’s fine. My apartment building is not that far from here, I can walk there in around twenty minutes so you don’t have to worry that pretty little head of yours about how I get home, okay?” Arizona rolled her eyes but still took the water from Carina. “You don’t have to look after me you know, you could walk out of this room right now and I would be perfectly okay and you know I’m not entirely sure my wife would be too happy to know that I’ve spent my evening with another beautiful woman.”

carina smirked. “certo che no.” she rolled her eyes and leaned back into the couch. she brushed her hair back out of her face. “congratulations. but i gave it up so it does not count. a prize for being a loser,” she insisted. the statement made her shake her head as she looked away from the blonde, back at the door to the attending’s lounge. “maybe i like weird. i do not like that tequila. where did you get it? it is so… yuck.”
“You didn’t give it up really.” Arizona argued although she knew that Carina had really given it up. “You know, if you don’t like it then don’t drink it...problem solved and it’s not yuck you just clearly have bad taste, either that or I’m too wasted to care what it tastes like.” Arizona giggled a little and swigged from the bottle again with a smug smile. “I’m happy to be a loser.”

“Patience, baby.” Arizona mumbled against her wife’s lips. She stood for a moment to get rid of her scrub pants and her underwear before moving back to Callie’s lap. She moved her hand between them and put it down the front of her scrub pants and underwear. “Mhm...someone’s ready for me...fuck you’re so wet, Cal.” She slipped a finger inside her wife with a smirk, “Oh my god, you feel so good.”

carina grinned, “good. io sono il campione.” she took the bottle and took a swig. it wasn’t very nice, so she sat it back down on the coffee table. she had won, it didn’t matter if arizona got it back now. “ah, i think you might. if you are sitting alone here. a bar, sitting alone makes sense. the staff room at your job? that is very weird.”
“I don’t speak Italian so I have no idea what you’re saying but I don’t think I want to know anyway.” Arizona rolled her eyes and when it seemed like Carina’s guard was down, she reached back over for the bottle. “Ha! I got it. You lose. I win. If it was so weird then you wouldn’t be sat here with me.”

callie was most of all amused at this wilder side of arizona. she felt helpless against the love spell that the blonde had obviously put on her. or maybe it was because she found her irresistible. she smiled mischievously as arizona stood and barricaded the door. “you are just full of surprises today.” she pulled her wife back to her lap and settled her hands on her ass. “quickly and then we go home and i get you however i want.” she tightened her grip and dipped her head to kiss at the other’s neck and up to her lips.
Arizona gave a little ‘oof’ as Callie pulled her back down to her lap and sighed into the kiss with a little moan. “I can’t promise that it’ll be quick though, you know how it is when I get started...” Arizona reached her hand down to the hem of Callie’s scrub top and pulled it up and over her wife’s head. She moved her own kisses down Callie’s neck and across her chest, her hands moved to Callie’s back and unclasped the bra, pulling it off her and tossing it to the floor. She kissed across her wife’s breasts, flicking the nipple slightly with her tongue. “God you’re sexy, Callie.” She moved her kisses back up, pushing her tongue past Callie’s lips.

“Stealing is wrong, Carina,” she imitating, laughing. She stretched as far as she could out of reach. If she tried to go any further the bottle would surely slip out of her grasp and leave the entire room smelling like tequila. That probably wasn’t illegal but it wasn’t very desirable either. “Any means necessary?” she smirked. “Okay. Now I am just curious. And you may need an invention,” she said, meaning an intervention.
Arizona huffed a little and sat back a little defeated. “I give up, you can keep it. I’m too tired to even fight you on this.” She folded her arms across her chest and put her feet up on the table in front of her. “I think you mean intervention but that’s rude because I don’t need one.”

“then maybe you should ask her,” carina said. she leaned back, the bottle was just out of arizona’s reack, if she came any further she’d be in her lap. her annoyance was endlessly amusing. “ay, no. i can. it is called stealing, i believe? il furto.”
“Maybe, maybe not.” Arizona groaned as Carina moved the bottle even further out of her reach. “Stealing is wrong, Carina. Just give me the bottle, right now.” Arizona reached even further, her fingers just reaching the bottle. “Don’t make me get it because I will get it by any means necessary.”

callie barely had enough time to form a response before her very sexy wife was in her lap. it made it much much harder to keep her resolve. her hands immediately found settlement on arizona’s hips and brown eyes looked to blue. “you wanna have hot, hot sex where anyone walking by could see.. or just walk in?” she had been so tempted to throw caution to the wind and lay her down on the couch right then and there. but someone had to be the responsible adult in that moment. “you are one convincing woman, arizona.” she smirked. “but i think i like the idea of having you scream my name over and over without an audience better. let’s go home.” she leaned up and pressed a kiss to each dimpled cheek, and placed another one on arizona’s neck.
“Come on Cal...” Arizona murmured against her wife’s lips. She felt the familiar flutter of butterflies in her tummy as Callie kissed her. “No one’s going to walk in, we’ll be quick...come on baby, I know you want to.” She ran her finger’s through brunette locks. She reached up behind her to close the blind that covered the window and she stood up and pushed a small table in front of the door. “See -- no chance of anyone walking in now. So...what do you say?”

Ah. Disappointing. The prettiest ones were always married or straight. “I just did take it from you,” she countered. Since there was obviously someone else to take care of her, she took a drink. “Can your wife come and pick you up?” she asked. “That is a bad coping mechanic,” but her worry had turned to amusement instead. “I would give you this, but you have nothing to trade with me.”
“I don’t know, I haven’t asked her.” Arizona smirked being difficult. She reached for the bottle again, letting her hand linger around Carina’s ever so slightly. “I will trade you...something, I don’t know, just give me the bottle, please. You can’t take what isn’t yours.”

“i do not doubt that we are not the first. not with how some of the people in this hospital act.” carina looked slightly concerned. she reached over and carefully pried the bottle away from her. “you know what, why don’t you tell me where you live so we can take you home?” she suggested. she wasn’t sure how much arizona had had to drink, but it seemed like more than a reasonable amount. “you seem like your day has been very long.”
“Hey, hey, hey. No.” Arizona frowned and attempted to take the bottle back. “That’s nice and you can’t take it from me. If you want to know where I live you can call my wife and she’ll tell you.” Arizona folded her arms across her chest. “Yes, it’s been a long day which is exactly why I’m drinking.”

callie rubbed her hand up and down arizona’s arm soothingly. her smile turned to a smirk at her wife’s suggestion, she had always gotten a tad more handsy when she drank. part of her considered catching up to her instead of sobering her wife up. “how about we ask mark to take sof…” she pressed a kisses to the soft lips in front of her. “and if you can make it through your back rub, i will give you all the stress relief you need.” the last kiss lingered, a promise to arizona if she could hold up her part. callie knew well enough that if she didn’t relax the blonde before they jumped to bed, the tension wouldn’t be nearly as relieved.
Arizona scowled a little as Callie spoke. “How about no. How about we go home and we have hot, hot sex or we could just go and find an on call room now with this tequila and I can lick it off your body...” Arizona repositioned herself and straddled her wife’s lap. “...Or we can just do it right here, right now.”

carina eyed the other up suspiciously but took the bottle anyway and took a drink directly from it. she made a face as it hit the back of her throat but, seeing that she clearly had a lot of catch up on, she took another drink. “oh, how nice of you,” she said sarcastically, but a smile tugged at her lips. she twisted her body so that she was facing the other woman, her arm lying along the back of the couch once she handed the bottle back. “so there is no reason to be drinking alone?” she asked. “maybe to be in the safe zone… we should take this across the street to the bar?”
Arizona laughed as she drank from the bottle again. “Don’t you think it’s a little bit late for that? We may as well carry on drinking here since we’ve started. I really don’t think we’d get in trouble for it. I’m sure many people have done this before us you know, but honestly if you’re so worried we should probably go to the bar.”

callie lifted her arm and wrapped it around arizona, pulling her into her side. she knew what her wife had meant and just nodded. every time she heard that deflated tone in arizona’s voice, callie just wanted to scoop her up and make it all go away. “how about after this one you let me take you home.” she peeked down at the blonde with a small smile. “we can not talk about the day and i’ll rub your back?”
“That sounds good.” Arizona mumbled against Callie’s neck. “You know -- we could ask Mark to keep Sofia for the night and we could...get in bed and you could give me some stress relief, since I’ve had such a hard long day.” Arizona’s words were a little slurred as she bit her lip looking up at her wife with a raise of her eyebrow and a glint in her eye. “Yes or yes?”
