Nine Lives

im writing about my new shiny hyperfixation. Rain World.

I don't really know how to write sign language [some simple variant made for the slugcats], hope its looking good. Its my first formal attempt at xenofiction writing [in animals that don't speak to eachother with their own spoken language or anything]

A golden slugpup stood infront of the wall, decorated with art of their leader, gone rains prior in the great quest.

Her tail swayed to one side as she pinched the air with her two nubby fingers, drawing a quick straight line from the height of her hips to as far up as her short arms allowed, a sign that meant [spear], then she lowered nearly to the ground, paw falling in a curved motion around her neck [kill] and the other paw waving above her back like spines upon a lizard – [predator]. With a jump she transitioned to signing the word [big], extending her arms above her head.

[ Attacked very big predator ], she had said, all the other pups wide-eyed with interest until the tapping of several spears and a little squeak brought their interest away.

I dont know what colors to use to make the skirt look good, oof, but im over all happy with this - it's an axolotl (based on the common /wild axolotl morph, not the leucistic one thats popular) - those drops of watter on the gills/the uh "fish tank" helmet are because it is an axolotl living in the sea - and axolotls, uh, dont live in the sea! she's not used to that kind of water so.. yea! dont ask how the water on its gills Doesn't mix with the water all around her, its. cartoon logic.

Just a sona, no idea on any lore yet it is just there ::D for now. Now i gotta draw the octopus WOO.

not a sona sort of oc but while designing the sonas i kinda came up with her? yeah. just transfem whale shark. no clothes because MAN i struggle with clothes its either cloak or suit for me and i dont see her wearing either

doesnt rlly have lore other than she is very tired and sleepy and uses a rollator. very friendly, probably sort of the mom-friend kinda gal.
