The cold liquid burns its way down his throat, as his fingers grasp the second shot glass, following the “last” one he’d promised to himself, about half an hour ago. Much alike a toddler who couldn’t hold his head up, Baekhyun lets his eyes wander across the wooden counter, where his elbows rest. Ahead of him, staring at the crown of his hanging head, stands the now familiar bartender, knowingly holding the bottle of tequilla in his hand, as he waits for the wrecked singer to raise his head and ask for more. Occasional, “accidental” nudges on his lower back from tempted ones, and a few stares, coupled with soft smirks and raised brows are often directed at him. He can’t see any of it, though. He can’t see anything.
