I  can’t  find  it  on  here,    but  my  favourite  score  from  the  entire  soundtrack  is  definitely  many  mothers.    that  scene  where  furiosa  finds  out  about  what  happened  to  the  green  place  and  just  collapses  to  the  sand  and  screams  ?    breathtaking.    beautiful.

(…) And Theron does that here in such a powerful, heartbreaking way that I found myself in awe of how she was able to communicate so much in a glance.

There’s this moment when she re-enters the rig after Max drives it away from an attacking motorcycle gang, and she looks him up and down as he scoots over, and she has this tiny – not smile, but almost approving or knowing glance that lets us know: she knows she’s won him over. And he’ll be on their side now.

There are tons of moments like this throughout, where all we get is Theron’s eyes to tell us everything. (x)

I  can  honestly  say  that  Capable  is  the  one  muse  that  makes  me  go,    “  damn,    I  wish  I  had  seen  sw  ”    because  I  feel  like  she  would  fit  in  well  in  that  universe.

notes  on  capable’s  background  since  I  cba  to  write  up  a  full  bio  yet  :

her  surname  is  maolmhuaidh  and  she  comes  from  an  irish  background.    many  generations  ago,    before  the  world  dried  up  and  perished,    her  ancestors  immigrated  to  australia  and  they’ve  been  there  ever  since.

her  father,    senan,    was  a  tinkerer,    and  her  mother,    fiadh,    was  a  healer  before  she  was  rounded  up  after  the  birth  of  her  youngest  and  forced  to  become  a  milker.    capable  was  born  niamh  but  does  not  remember  her  real  name  as  it’s  been  a  long  time  since  it  was  used  to  address  her.

capable  has  two  sisters,    una  and  eabha.    of  the  three,    she  is  the    eldest.    she  earned  the  name  capable  because  she  was  a  responsible  child  and  was  often  left  in  charge  of  her  sisters.    over  the  years,    the  nickname  stuck.

by  the  time  she  was  thirteen,    immortan  joe  already  has  his  eyes  on  her.    she  was  taken  by  him  at  the  age  of  fourteen  and  promised  a  life  of  luxury.    it  was  then  that  she  met  splendid  and  they  formed  a  strong  bond  with  one  another.    when  the  dag  arrived  one  year  later,    the  immortan  brought  in  miss  giddy  and  they  were  tutored  by  her  from  then  on.

she  lost  her  virginity  at  the  age  of  fifteen.    it  was  brutal  and  painful,    and  the  start  of  her  abuse  was  really  when  her  hatred  of  the  immortan  began  to  settle  in  deep.    it  goes  on  for  roughly  ten  years,    in  the  span  of  which  toast  and  cheedo  are  also  acquired.
