Imagine vinnie finding out about SLIME omg 😭

Sam would be at the store buying all the supplies.

Clay, glue, activator, glitter, shaving cream

Vinnie sees a random YouTube kids video on slime while Sam is half-asleep on the couch. It's this very rare screen time day where Vincent has ten minutes of watching whatever he wanted; of course whatever meant Sam overlooking nearby. But ever since Sam had trouble sleeping last night, he put the first thing Vinnie's eyes caught - slime..so now baby boy’s eyes go wide, he gasps so hard he hiccups, and then he’s just “Thammy!! Thammy!! Sliiimey!! Goo!! Make goo goo!!”

Sam, half asleep, half awake, praying to have at least five minutes of peace, is like, “...what the hell is goo goo.” 🙄

Cut to the next day, with Sam trudging through Walmart with his hood up, cart loaded as if he was prepping for the apocalypse. Glue. Shaving cream. Glitter. Weird little foam beads. Contact solution. A mixing bowl Vinnie insisted on choosing because it had ducks on it.

At home, they make it - which brings Vinnie to literal heaven. He’s smacking it, stretching it, announcing to the world:

“SLIMEY!! PRETTY SLIMEY!!” while glitter flies everywhere and somehow Sam ends up with glue in his hair..

And of course, Sam’s like, “This is disgusting. This feels like snot. Why the fuck do you like this.”

But five minutes later, he’s absolutely kneading it with Vinnie, muttering, “…alright, fine, this one’s kinda cool.” Meanwhile Vinnie proudly offers him a glittery chunk like, “Dis one for you, Thammy. It’s pink like your bracelet.” 🥺 (he made him a pink bracelet)

in order to unlearn racism u have to be willing to accept that u are racist. it’s not a bad thing to want to change for the better. it’s not a bad thing to say hey, the way i’ve been acting is racist and i don’t want to be racist anymore. when people of color are telling u ways in which u have been racist, it’s actually not cool to brush it off and say, well i didn’t mean it that way.. u actually have to make an effort to stop doing those things if u want to be able to actually say ur anti-racist. u can’t just say ur not racist because u don’t wanna be seen as racist. that’s not how unlearning racism works.
