Thank you so, so much!! I’m always delighted to see you pop up in my notifs :D And yess, baby headcanon time!

Their first child (they don't know if they want more) is a girl

At first, Murphy is afraid to hold her but Emori coaches him through it and also reminds him of his gentleness and the kind things that his hands have done

After that, Murphy can't stop holding their baby girl; he'll happily hold her for hours and just stare at her

They keep their newborn in the same room as them, on Emori's side of the bed and whenever the babe cries in the night, she'll lean over and settle her hand on the babe's chest, circling her fingers and if that's not enough, she'll sit up and rock their baby girl

When she does this, Murphy will flop over and throw his arm across her waist, his head settled on her hip

Emori can just stare at their daughter for hours, sometimes she feels to fragile, too clumsy to hold her but she'll watch her sleep in her cradle, fingers tracing over plump cheeks and eyes full of wonder 

Murphy has only ever known Emori with her tattoo so, at first, he doesn't realize that their daughter has come out the spitting image of her; the only difference being her complexion and pale blue eyes

When the kid gets older, she wants a tattoo, just like Emori

Neither of them want her to go through the pain of a facial tattoo nor does Emori want her daughter to have these connections to a clan that had abandoned her or to a life that had long since passed

Instead, they create a new tradition, the three of them each get a tattoo on their left shoulder blade (Clarke and Gaia design it and Echo actually gives it to them), just behind where the heart lies; it’s a connection and a new creation, a bond for their family (it catches on and Clarke and Gaia end up making a design for everyone, for their new clan, and it goes on the forearm)

Neither want her to ever feel alone or abandoned, so they may be just a smidge overprotective 

Their favourite family bonding activity is swimming 

Whenever she can’t sleep and asks for stories, they speak of their fallen family; they tell her about Bellamy and Monty and Harper, about space and the stars; they want her life to be full of wonder and curiosity and to never have to be about survival

She’s been the most steady presence in his life since the day they met in tenth grade, and he doesn’t want to ruin what they have in case she doesn’t feel the same way. But now that they’re seniors and hearing back from colleges, it finally hits him that they might not always be friends forever. And maybe that’s just the push he needs to tell her how he feels.

Love is Messy

Murphy didn’t do love. It was messy and complicated and never ended well, so instead he made it a point to keep things un-messy, uncomplicated. He had a good system: meet a woman at a bar, go back to her place for the night, sneak out before she wakes up, and repeat.

But his one night stand with Emori didn’t go to plan. Before Murphy understood what was happening, his one night stand turned into an entire weekend, a weekend he didn’t want to end. Dammit, he was fucked.

Prompted by an anonymous prompter through @t100fic-for-blm. Nonnie donated to a gofundme for a victim of gun violence and her young daughter who survives her.

who do you like from s&b? ships?

Basically everyone 😅 I mean, I am mainly all for Kanej. They are my all time favourites! The angst, the longing looks, the yearning is just everything I love.

But also I really really love Helnik. And Malina was sooo cute in the show. Also the chemistry between Ben and Jessie makes me question at times all my morals (though I know that relationship is deffos not healthy).

When Emori found out she was pregnant, she was terrified to bring a new life into a world that was torn to shambles. Sanctum was a poorly scrapped together conglomerate of feuding factions, and war could erupt at any moment. She and John might not have been the best people to hold Sanctum together and build a better future, but they had to at least try.
