THE CONCEPT

After defeating the iron stake demon, Hwarim and Bonggil thought their troubles were over and they could go back to their lives as shamans. But that hope didn’t last long. A new threat appeared—a black magic that could resurrect the dead and spread a curse across the land, even to the place where the iron stake demon was buried again. They were concerned that this might bring back the evil power and cause even more chaos. In the end, Hwarim and Bonggil had no choice but to risk their lives once again to save many people., but this time they weren’t alone, as two others with the same mission joined them.

Cursed Defenders is a 35-day OA Non Event with a supernatural theme, merging the storylines of Exhuma and The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey into an even more intense adventure. Set after Hwarim and Bonggil (from Exhuma) defeat the iron stake demon, Cursed Defenders challenges players to join the fight against a deadly curse. Inspired by the adventures of Soo Jin and Jinhee (The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey), the story pits players against hundreds of undead, raised by dark magic.

Setelah berhasil menaklukkan siluman pasak besi, Hwarim dan Bonggil mengira bahwa semua telah berakhir dan mereka bisa kembali menjalani kehidupan normal sebagai seorang dukun di perguruan mereka. Namun, harapan itu pupus ketika teror baru muncul. Sebuah sihir gelap tiba di Korea, membawa kemampuan mengerikan untuk membangkitkan mayat dan mengutuk wilayah-wilayah yang terus meluas, termasuk tempat di mana siluman pasak besi kembali dikuburkan. Mereka cemas, hal ini dapat membangkitkan kembali kekuatan jahat itu dan menciptakan kekacauan yang lebih besar lagi, Hwarim dan Bonggil akhirnya terpaksa harus kembali mempertaruhkan nyawa mereka untuk menyelamatkan banyak orang. Hwarim dan Bonggil pun harus kembali berjuang demi menyelamatkan banyak nyawa, namun kali ini mereka tidak sendiri, karena dua orang dengan tujuan yang sama ikut membantu mereka.

Cursed Defenders adalah OA Non Event yang berlangsung selama 35 hari, mengusung tema supranatural dengan menggabungkan alur cerita dari Exhuma dan The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey menjadi kisah yang lebih menantang. Berlatarkan waktu setelah Hwarim dan Bonggil (Exhuma) berhasil mengalahkan siluman pasak besi, Cursed Defenders mengajak para calon Defenders untuk berpetualang dan melawan kutukan mengerikan. Kutukan ini diadaptasi dari petualangan Soo Jin dan Jinhee (The Cursed: Dead Man’s Prey), di mana mereka menghadapi ratusan mayat hidup yang bangkit akibat sihir terkutuk.
