First off, the meme of "he hasn't put him down since **bad scene** after shibuyu arc in general. Sukuna just holding Yuuji like a fucking toddler whenever "CUT!?" is called.

This being Yuuji first gig in the business, though his Papa is a rather well known and popular actor, it's totally different when it's your first time to shine. He cries, legit breaks down, during his first scene with Sukuna in character and they only end up getting half a days filming in because sun shine baby is near inconsolable.

Sukuna standing off screen, arms crossed, total dad "excuse you sir" expression when Yuuji calls Nobara a bitch.

Their scenes being near IMPOSSIBLE to get through in less then 20 takes because Sukuna goes out of his way to make his kiddo laugh.

No offence but Percy being made to feel guilty about how the gods forgot about Calypso because he was ~a little preoccupied~ and having that guilt validated is bullshit. Calypso cursing Annabeth for Percy leaving her is bullshit. Percy bearing the blame for that curse is bullshit. Annabeth having to pay the price & then basically being treated as a background prop for this shitty plot line is bullshit. I love these panels and how they turned out. When Gojo thought he was really about to die, with Sukuna despising him and calling him weak, he never imagined those would be the last words from someone he admired.

The progression of their fight, starting with that lucky moment when Sukuna miscalculated, was captivating. From that point on, Satoru lost himself in the battle. He forgot everything else and was determined to show Sukuna that he was no ordinary sorcerer.

What I absolutely adore about Sukuna is that, despite his arrogance, he admits his errors and mistakes. He can still admire others without being spiteful about the past.

Ghost of Tsushima Fic Recs

Oh boy, this is me coming to save the day. It’s been months since I finished Ghost of Tsushima (+ the lovely Iki Island extra) and as an avid fic reader, ofc I searched through the depths of AO3 to find decent fanfics.

Most are gen, because I loved the vague vibe of friendship within the game. And I think that the beauty in GoT is about reflecting upon everyone’s stories—it honestly gives so much potential for writing. Give me all those character studies in your fics, does it have hopeful romance canon divergence due to the what-ifs implicated throughout the game? great

Through solid and well-structured drabbles, we find comfort in final conversations between Jin and his allies in this fanfic. I personally loved this because we start right after the final duel, and Jin must say goodbye to Omi Village. I think this was written before the author played Iki Island, but still, it is really beautiful. We have so many nostalgic scenes and everyone caring in their own way for Jin—yes, this was the end of a wonderful journey, but as a reader you know (and reassured) Jin will be seeing everyone again.

I don't read much of these two, im not into this ship much, but i couldn't help but read a soulmate au because god knows this fandom needs it. anyways, jin is a sweetheart as always, and i loved the writing here.

batfamily thought: we need to bring back where the boys really don't follow anyone else besides their dad. They can work with others and lead a team very well. But unless it's for a mission, they do not follow anyone else's orders besides Bruce or Alfred. Especially if they're a person in a position of power they have zero respect for. The boys give batman a hard time and feel safe enough to question his orders or his methods (especially Jason), but at the end of the day he's their teacher. It's just built in the respect they have for him. Everyone else, if the bats don't respect you or don't need to fake respect for you they are full chaos gremlins. The worst is Dick. Because he is full of disrespectful while he has a flirty smile on his face. It's just this air of hidden superiority Dick has. Dick has been with batman the longest, someone he considers the "best". He can count on one had the people he's met that should be considered the "best". Yet Bruce is not fully aware of the type of loyalty he inspires.

I was rewatching Young Justice and the fact that all versions of Robin are the only one forced to keep their secret identity even with their teammates and friends is usually written off as Batman being paranoid. I think it's more than that, that it's his way of giving the kids an 'out'. If they ever decide they don't want to fight crime anyone they have a safe identity to return to, no obligations.

They are children first, soldiers second. Bruce knows better than anyone the loneliness his job brings and of course he would want better for anyone, especially his kids.

Honestly it would be hilarious if Clark and Bruce started dating and Clark was unaware that Bruce was batman or knew his identity.

At some point Bruce kisses him as superman after a rescue and Clark is emotionally going through it coz his boyfriend kissed another guy. Even if that guy is technically him he's still mad and jealous of himself somehow coz even superman can't compete with Superman. He's not even sure whether or not to confronted Bruce about his affair since it keeps happening.

While he's trying to figure all this out Batman,of all people, kisses him. And he does it so casually. Sure, Clark had a crush on him for a while but he's over it now and he's in a committed relationship that he thought batman knew about. Now he's extra scared of confronting Bruce because he doesn't want it to look like he's just starting a fight so he can be with batman. And he's still hoping there's a way to work through this and for them to be together. He's being haunted by his moral code to just talk about this and get it over with but he's still afraid of losing Bruce and living in the shadow of the idolized version of himself again.

La la la Bruce, twirling around liking a fairy princess living his best life: my boyfriend's the best and every thing is perfect. Maybe world peace is real. Is this what happiness feels like?

Favorite niche Superbat trope in fic: when other Kryptonians visit Kal-El and they don’t fully understand why he loves Earth so much, but they protect it on his behalf because he’s their future, their baby they sent into the stars, their son/cousin/brother/hope. A son of the House of El.

And the sub-trope, of course, of those same Kryptonians not fully understanding what Kal sees in this human man from Gotham but protecting him with the full power of their House(s). Not that he needs it, but Kal gets twitchy if there isn’t a Kryptonian within shouting distance of his human and they’re more than willing to oblige.

“S-Superman?” Joker sputtered.

“You,” Joker has only heard stories of the alpha’s rage, but at this moment, he knew, none of them were exaggerated, “hurt my pup.”
