As I’ve grown older,
I’ve come to understand that I am not exceptional.
When I was smaller I did believe I was exceptional.
Because I always managed to keep my head above the waves.
But that’s not possible anymore.
There are no waves.
Now in the place of the waves there is a sealed box full of water.
And in the middle of that box, is where I will always stay.
