The ask about how Nour used to run the cult definitely took me off guard. Most of your art has them grinning and being goofy, I knew there was something there (they were the reason Nari left), but i figured it was related to the struggles of ascension. Turns out they were just Like That and ascension brought it back out.

Was there a reason they led the way they did? Trauma from the sheep genocide?

The art of them in the beginning wasn’t me officially making a story, it was me playing around with the lamb's character. Nour came waaayyy later, and their story I’ve only just started developing with my friend properly. Nour is, indeed, still eyes deep in the grief of their loss. They never even really knew their people, as the sheep population was so low when they were born, and the sheep people they did know, they were aquatinted only through the bars of prisons or the taste of their flesh on a plate. Nour doesn’t forgive easily, and tortured the bishops for decades before finally letting them go, and even then, they didn’t forgive them. I’m not sure they ever will to be honest, they simply have to learn how to live with the grief and loss. But who knows! Someone could finally come along and help them out of it? (And it's probably not who you think it is)

An Old Face

Sorry for the long ass comic, it wasn't intentional I swear-

This scene takes place after the lamb kills the third bishop and unlocks Sin of the Flesh, curiosity gets the better of the Lamb and sure enough, the results are overwhelming. Since then, Crowne just kinda decided to stay in this form whenever he is wandering about as it brings the lamb a bit of comfort.

They know their brother is gone, but they can't help but cling to a false version of him.
