So here's the 2015 version of cryo. The transforming weapon thing did eventually become a staple of his.

Some notable interactions I had were:

I got my ticket, and then went out to put on my cosplay. As I came back in, I started taking my gloves and wings off to show my handstamp to get in, and the doorguard laughed and said "Are you trying to show me a handstamp? Don't worry about it- I won't make you take all of that off. I trust that you're a Lego fan."

A gaggle of Ninjago cosplayers were fauning on me.

A little girl said to her mom, "She looks cool!" Her mom: "Go tell her that." Girl to me: "You look cool!" Me: *bows* Her mom: "That's her way of saying 'thank you'."

A boy around age 10 ran in front of me and blocked my path, staring me down. I lowered down and mimicked stalking toward him. He got wide-eyed, started backing away slowly, and then ran off in alarm. His mother laughed and ran after him.

A trio of guys helped me fix a broken part of my cosplay before asking for a photo.

At least a dozen people stealth-photo'd me.

Me and a guy geeked a bit over both being VAs from the Ignition series (He's Tobduk, I was Kyrehx).

Only one of the kids actually knew I was Vamprah. The others knew I was some kind of Creature, and I Creature'd at them.

Toa Turaga Tuesday: Dume

Y'know, when I was a kid, I watched Legends of Metru Nui and assumed that Mata Nui falling asleep was somehow related to the Matoran falling asleep in the Matoran Spheres, and then he didn't wake up when they did because the Toa Metru didn't have enough power left after becoming Turaga. That was why the Toa Mata were needed to wake him, it took Toa power. Awakening Mata Nui was their Destiny, saving the Matoran was the Metru's, it all added up.

And then the reveal that the Matoran were Mata Nui's brain cells only made that make more sense. Man's entire brain got put into a coma, of course he keeled over.

Plus, it makes Teridax absorbing the city's power feel like preventative measure, disabling the rest of Metru Nui's systems to keep the Matoran from returning, and stopping Mata Nui from waking up again once his brain started to work.

So finding out that actually the GSR was shut down by a virus that Terry put in its systems 300 years earlier and knocking the Matoran out had nothing to do with the Great Cataclysm besides happening at the same time coincidentally. Terry even accelerated that plan due to the Hagah rebellion, so originally it wouldn't have even happened at the same time.

I love this series but man. Sometimes parts of it don't make sense. At all. Or seem designed to be intentionally confusing.

Dozer

When it comes to sheer brute force there aren't many dark hunters that can match the goliath known as Dozer. Yet his physical strength is not what landed him in the Shadowed One's good graces, and neither are his endurance nor his ability to simply brush off most attacks. No, the reason for that would be that Dozer's mind is as blunt and uncomplicated as his fighting style, making him an easily manipulated tool that enacts his master's will without doubt or question; an obedient soldier whose brutish brain couldn't possibly even conceive of plotting against him.

That alone is the reason why Dozer is one of the Shadowed One's most trusted soldiers

don't know basically anything about the Element Lords either but I like to think that if they faced off against a group of Toa the Toa would immediately gain control of their whole bodies and just trash them to the point of humiliation. I know Element Lords have greater elemental control but your body's made out of water?? Gali is going to turn you into ocean in the next five seconds. you're one with the fire you command? okay good cause Jaller will snuff you down into candlelight before you can even get to monologuing. becoming so powerfully intertwined with what you command that you don't have command of it anymore, you just are that thing. and someone else can get at the reins
