the weather is starting to feel like estranging myself from society and sleeping in a warehouse and walking miles into town until my classmate who i’m secretly in love with and obsessed to a point of unrealistic idealization saves me from dying of hypothermia

I know reblogging reviews of your own book is probably generally not cool, but. However. This review MADE MY DAY. Thank you @owlstory!!! I’m so glad my friends are now your friends too!
magical gays, theys and crime solvers, my fantasy mystery series THE UNDETECTABLES just had two more books announced!
book 1 THE UNDETECTABLES follows chronically ill 20-year-old Mallory Hawthorne and her friends Diana, Cornelia, and Theodore (a ghost in a cat costume (don’t ask)) as they start a PI agency to track down a serial killer operating in their small magical town
book 2 THE UNDEAD COMPLEX follows the gang five months after the events of book 1. They’re struggling to find relevant magical murder cases when Diana gets a call from her ex-girlfriend, Taylor, asking her to investigate a murder on set of a zombie tv show called Undead Complex. The victim? Taylor herself. And that’s not the only weird thing happening…
book 3 ?? TBA (2025)
book 4 TBA (2026)
this book series is for anyone who has ever loved CSI, or scooby doo, or rivers of London, or Supernatural, or Bones, or wanted a big gang of queer friends in a queer norm world (or who has ever wanted a very, very slow burn sapphic pining story)

if you've ever used the London Underground you might have noticed that it often gets uncomfortably hot. the reason for this is actually that its builders dug too greedily & too deep and as a result the trains are very close to the fires of hell. hope that helps.
