yes, i see that. most of the time it is very valid criticism, but what im talking about is people writing things directed at werm artists (again, i am not an artist!) that make it seem like they owe you and the community things when that's just. not true objectively. it's a hobby, not a job. it's for fun, not an obligation. they're allowed to do what they want, when they want, and when they have the time. it just irritates me the way people talk about it. i don't think anyone's genuinely upset because they're having fun, that's stupid as shit. i just want everyone to think before they start talking like the artists owe them something.

I understand the community is big and it's hard to obtain wermz without usd, and I understand and respect the actual valid criticism about that kind of thing, but it really bothers me (not an artist) that people keep complaining. the whole point is to have fun. for the artists and the community. if you aren't having fun, leave. it's not that deep. it really isn't. no one is doing anything wrong and it shouldn't be affecting you.

it sucks when you fall head over heels for a species to literally never be able to win a single one because the staff are all circle jerking each other's weens and the weens of only people that already have existing characters in the species. why are so many species so fucking difficult to just win ONE. i just want one fable or one wme to get my foot through the door and i literally cannot win a single one. not for lack of trying and putting in the effort either. boohoo woe is me yes i know
