Intricate Intentions by Jennifer Rayes
This second book seemed to pick up right where the last one ended. Despite the fact that the plot is building more and has some twists thrown in, I feel like I enjoyed the first book more than the second.
During this book, Gaia has started growing more into her role as Queen of Ica, and what a badass queen she is becoming. She is kind hearted, fierce, strong and is not showing any mercy to those that do wrong. In this second book, we are introduced to more character and while I don't like some such as Carlos, I do love the role Emily has grown into and love the fact that there is more of her this book.
I have decided in this book that I definitely love Dominique more than Price Raoul, could be because Raoul is being a dick and is acting like he's a teenage boy. I can't wait to see who she ends up with, seeing as how I'm sure there will be more of both character. Maybe she will end up with both? Also, is anyone else seriously creeped out over the Governor of Ayadora, dude has issues.
Although I love the story, when the heck does it take place? While there weren't any mentions of cell phones in the first book that I could remember, they all of a sudden have them in the second one. WTF?! They way thing are portrayed and how they act seems as if the story takes place forever ago, but now they have cell phones? So confusing. Despite that confusing part, I still give this book a 4 star rating seeing how I couldn't put it down for a second and just overall loved the story.
And really, another cliffhanger !?!?! Good thing I don't have to read the next book, seeing as it is already out, lucky me :)

Intricate Deceptions by Jennifer Rayes
This is my first read by this author and it's safe to say I can't wait to get my hands on the second book to this series. This book does have some difficult content that may be difficult for others to read as it does include scenes of human trafficking, kidnapping, prostitution and so on... While the first chapter did start off with a strong scene, I was slow getting into the story as I didn't know what was going on. I guess that was the point since Gaia didn't as well. Despite the fact that I love how fearless and strong Gaia is throughout the story, I can't help but feel she is too trusting with others during the time of which she suffers from memory loss. Which is probably why she has such bad luck with trouble finding her. As the story keeps building more and more, I can't help but fall more intrigued after each page to see what is about to happen next. Although I loved the story line, I couldn't help but wonder when this story took place? I know it was before cell phones were invented, but when exactly? Also I can't tell if I like Dominique or Prince Raoul more, anyone else having this issue? This story gets a deserved 4 star rating from me as I couldn't help but finish the whole story in one go. Also a cliffhanger, reallly?!?!? Now I have to read the next book right away, so much for having a social life the next few days. I definitely recommend reading this book!!!

The Devil’s Angels MC by Lola Wright
Alright, let me just start by saying that this book was freakin’ hilarious! I was looking for a good MC series to read when I stumbled upon this gem and I am sooooo happy that I did. This story was hilarious, emotional, and definitely a little raunchy.
While this book may not be for everyone, I 100% suggest reading it. The sex scenes are steamy, and the chemistry between Ava and Gunner is off the charts HOT! What made this particular story that much better were the rescue animals and the all the other members of the Devil’s Angels MC. There were many times throughout the novel where I was laughing out loud with all their antics.
I cannot express how excited I am to read the rest of the series!
5 Stars!
