Horrible things happened to innocent people in Chile

There's footage of cops burning buildings, markets, stands and metro stations to blame it on the protests so the owners can cash their insurance, the media can keep talking about destructive behavior and as an excuse to get the military to the streets.

We're currently in state of emergency just in the capital, which means the military gets to do the cops job and guard duty but there's reports of them shooting civilians all over the country.

Don't believe the media, they're demonizing the protests.

About Chile... #RenunciaPiñera

So for anybody who may not have known, I live in Chile, the only country I've ever known, my land, and there have recently been loads of protests because the government just doesn't stop fucking up. Shitty ass pensions, a collapsed healthcare system, politicians having a salary 33 times the minimum wage, and a laaaarge etcetera. People got fed up and took the streets, creating what has to be the biggest social uprising in the last three or so decades. The government answered by sending the military to the streets almost immediately and soon after he declared a curfew. This did not stop the people, who are sadly being shot, beaten up, forcibly undressed, thrown tear gas... there's already a deadcount.

I urge you to please reblog this so people worldwide can know about the silent human rights violations that have taken place in my country under the disguise of an "economically flexible democratic land". DON'T TRUST THE TV! THEY ONLY SHOW ONE SIDE OF THE COIN. A SIDE THAT A LOT OF THE TIME ISN'T EVEN REAL, BUT A MONTAGE.

To be fair, my friends don’t hate Marie Kondo because of racism. Their problem is more because she’s a pretty, rich, straight, cis woman sharing ideas that are based in the culture of a historically imperialistic country with a long history of horrifying war crimes. I know it’s a reach, but some people feel better if they can come up with reasons to justify hating things, and that’s just how it is.
